Oh good grief. 6 months from now this will be a footnote. For the most part this was a simple protest. What's to come from the dems over the next 2 years will be 1000 times worse for the country than this incident.

I would say that I'm surprised by the number of posters on VolNation openly egging on and cheering the destruction of the U.S. Capitol building and straight up insurrection, but it's pretty par for the course around here.

Sad day in our nation's history. Never thought I'd live through an actual coup in the United States.

News flash: Trump supporters don't need help looking like unhinged, violent, ignorant pieces of trash. Just own that a fringe group of your base is storming the capitol.

It's a pretty sad, pathetic attempt at a coup, but it is one nonetheless. It is a documented fact that Trump refused to mobilize the National Guard to regain control of the Capital building. It was Pence and the Secretary of Defense that had to do so. Not to mention the explosive devices found in the RNC and in Cannon.
