Recruiting Forum Football Talk III

Our boosters are dysfunctional, but I don't think that's it. There's more to the Athletic Department than the Athletic Director. I honestly think a lot of the dysfunction is there, and it doesn't help that Fulmer isn't really qualified for the job.
But our athletic department has seen a ton of turnover over the years, both at the top with the AD and throughout the staff. Different "factions," if you will, have been in charge of it over the last decade plus.

The only crowd that has stayed more or less intact is our group of boosters. Bulls**t flows downhill.

LA said yesterday they’ve already cleaned it out once.
Then Boyd and Plowman need to get to the bottom of what the hell our problem is. It needs to be fixed and the importance of a successful football program needs to be re-established. Whether it's getting boosters in check, academics in check, or the AD in check, they need to find a way to get everyone on board. Otherwise, tell them to get the hell out of the boat.

It’s the boosters. It’s always been the boosters.

Okay I know we all on here debate, project, and speculate everything going on with this 'ish show... but we are now seriously at the point that the Admin and AD HAS to do something this week. SOMETHING. I didn't think about really all the recruits, parents, and current players/parents that are just hanging in the wind waiting on what is going to happen... this silence is killing the program and hurting our chances with either Pruitt/new staff, or a new HC/staff in getting this program out of the ditch.
Every day that we just sit, more transfers are finding landing spots, other programs are shifting staffs, coaches being hired/fired, current players are making decisions to portal or leave/graduate/forego senior season, and recruits are looking elsewhere (Jammie etc)
I know there's an investigation going on, but the Admin surely is far enough along to agree with the AD that something has to be done or put out there...

“Things are now trending in a direction where Jeremy Pruitt will not be the coach next year”.

Direct quote.

Fulmer has been on swains show multiple times and they are very close. I don’t know swain personally just from being at practices mainly butchs last year and Pruitt first year but i think it’s a very good possibility that He is setting the table for fulmer and feeling out the fan base for him.
he and Chris low talking up Marrone right now....lol...

might be on to something...

then is it safe to assume some of the things that have been previously reported, shot down, and kicked down the road are true?

If so that’s pretty damn bad and not a good look at all

Hundreds of pages I haven't read, so I don't know what all has cycled through. But things took a turn with outside counsel and it has become adversarial. Many P5 schools retain Glazier and the investigation proceeds without the rancor UT has unleashed. Creating this level of turmoil and toxicity isn't a good look and it isn't good for the program or the university.
