I still go back to the point that cats were being developed in Pruitt’s first two years. Corona placed a huge burden on these kids. No spring practice, no summer workouts, pretty much no fall practice. This past offseason was crucial to the development of a primarily young football team. Bring Steele and Garner in (who are incredible recruiters), get a couple difference making transfers, better QB play, and I think a lot of people will be pleasantly surprised in year 4.? Blue font needed?
Pruitt has been anything but a picture of stability. The coaching staff turnover has been nothing short of crazy each season.
I don't want either. I don't see Marrone or O'Brien being successful here.I’ve thought from the get go that one of these guys would be the way to go. These are the kind of coaches that you trust to commit 5 years to for a rebuild job, not a hot-headed DC that has never been an HC in college football.
I can pretty much guarantee he will not talk about filling the stadium this year because Covid is gonna take care of that for him.Wagging your finger at fans on Twitter is being "not wrong" when you are winning. It is fan blaming when you are losing. There is zero to gain for him even going there.
You think people have forgotten Pruitt blaming the fans in 2017 for the O&W game? Bet he doesn't go there again this Spring coming off a 3-7 season. You think fans will forget him saying he doesn't work for the fans or worry about what they think? I haven't.
Shaking your fist at Twitter trolls. It is just old man behavior. Nothing to gain from it.
From TOS
Rando: Could take Arik Gilbert, kevin Steele, Rodney Garner, kept Velus Jones. I mean quit the negative crap. Give the man a 4th year and Let's go.
Dude duck hunting with players and recruits: Few others coming as well that would help if we can get a public backing quick enough.
Give me Pruitt, steele and RodneyG
give me brooks, henry, Arik, and couch
And give me an NCAA violation report that is minor
And let’s roll!!
Our players and parents are fully, openly supportive of CJP. The ones actually putting all the work in along with their futures in his leadership. A National Championship winning AD fully supports CJP. The fans and a couple of administrators not so much. Unless you find level 1’s wrap this up and give the man another year to do his job.
Those guys are Doeren or Schiano without the child rape stuff level..I was against a hire like that before and I am now.I’ve thought from the get go that one of these guys would be the way to go. I don't disagree, but I also think this season doesn't reflect that attitude. We were horrible. We were beyond horrible. This isn't throwing a temper tantrum without reason. There's absolute reason to be mad at how bad we were, and how incompetently we were coached. And Pruitt hasn't even come close to really owning that. What I saw on that field this year was a total failure of coaching. With how much these guys get paid, accountability should be expected.I think this "stomp your feet and pitch a crazy fit every freakin time you lose and things don't go as quickly or smoothly as you think it should" attitude is f'n stupid and counter-productive.
Cool heads prevail. It’ll work if folks stay the course. Stability. Our players and parents are fully, openly supportive of CJP. He’s failed the past three, what makes you think he’ll suddenly succeed in year 4?Our players and parents are fully, openly supportive of CJP. It's too late for that now. I don't think Pruitt can push through the choking toxic cloud that will hang over this team the whole offseason. I wish he could, and if he had gone in a different direction at OL and DL coach, and especially at the QB position that he could have pulled two wins out of AU, UK and Arky and it would not gave gotten this bad. Sticking with and investing so much of what little offseason prep they had into JG destroyed his UT career imo.I still go back to the point that cats were being developed in Pruitt’s first two years.
