I think no one knowing where Pruitt stands, as far as job security, is going to hurt potential recruits and transfers

Public backing from Fulmer? I mean we’ve heard next to nothing except that they are investigating our program and coach who can’t hire replacements.... that’s tough to poor support behind if youre fans and said coach just went 3-7 and lost to the basement of the SEC

I think maybe the “fan negativity” is definitely relative to some of these reporters positions. I live in Ohio and outside of this site have not heard one thing about this situation. I follow everything Tennessee on Twitter, IG, snap, and FB, and I only have been aware to fan negativity in garnering it from this site. My point, this is no where as big a deal as any of the local 247 or related guys are making out. Fans are not the problem they are the consumer, make them happy, that’s how businesses work.

This all day. Outside of this site, it's a non issue with the average Tennessee fan. I've asked some of my friends, who are Tennessee fans, what they think about Pruitt being in trouble and I get the same answer. What kind of trouble

Pruitt has been anything but a picture of stability. The coaching staff turnover has been nothing short of crazy each season.

This is sooo depressing because you just know that whatever is the worst possible outcome that could happen...it will happen to us.

Just got off work and I’m 50 pages behind.
Listening to Swains podcast and he’s talking up Marrone and O’Brien. He also said we will know something this week or next.

I’ve thought from the get go that one of these guys would be the way to go. These are the kind of coaches that you trust to commit 5 years to for a rebuild job, not a hot-headed DC that has never been an HC in college football.
