“But but they love playing for Pruitt” 😂

They do. His former players rave about him. Plenty of examples out there.

The guys who have entered thus far have been recruited over or never played. DJ had two family members die of covid and wants to go be close to home.

But don’t let facts get in the way.

The old slimy "Chaos is a ladder" philosophy...one thing that should have been proven over and over and over again to VolNation by now is that is exactly what Varys said it was..."chaos is an abyss".

It is a gnawing black hole from which no light, nothing at all escapes.
Two things can be true. There is a proper balance that must be hit between chaos and order for anything to progress. Chaos is not good, but chaos doesn’t only present opportunity for bad things to happen either. If the right people take the initiative then good things can come out of a chaotic situation. There’s nothing great about how this is all being handled, but that doesn’t mean we couldn’t still fall into a great coach when all is said and done.

Recruited over but he still plays as recently as Vandy. Find the right position for Crouch and get out of the way.

We are going to be very thin all over the roster. The mediocre will get better, and teams like ours will continue to bleed. The chain of events that has unfolded is unprecedented and has been very unkind. Guys we're screwed..... Royally.

I’m not worried about pruitts reputation..... I am worried about our teams reputation.... if you see all these schools defend their players.... fight to keep players eligible..... fight to keep the NCAA away..... why would you choose Tennessee.... you already have an uphill battle with instate recruiting.... depleted roster more than likely if this goes down..... a university and city that doesn’t have your back...... Doug Dickey would not allow this stuff to be going on.

There's that guy over there who went hunting with Trey, Cooper, Cade, and Ty this week saying that Crouch and others are only the tip of the iceberg if we don't back Pruitt. They are believing that they weren't developed because of covid and they want to play for Pruitt.

But I wonder, why is it that only TN couldn't develop players because of covid?

Depending on which seniors stay with next year’s 85 man exemption, I don’t see it being an issue.
Yeah, I was talking more about going forward. Even this year could come into play. I mean we can only add 5 correct? What if 10 leave (doubtful, I know)? I could see some decent numbers of transfers if Pruitt is let go.

Yup. I’m just going to assume the Ridiculous contact tracing BS. I read that Bama didn’t do it at all, then again, I didn’t really look into that statement, could be false. But is so Bama if they didn’t.

I truly don't see how we are going to win more than 6 games next year. Development is almost non existent and the roster is pretty horrible outside Gray, TooToo and a few others.
Everyone could see this coming from a mile away.

Players know a coach isn't going to make it long before the outside world does. Those who can transfer, will transfer, and those who can't will stick around and waste their eligibility (if Pruitt is retained).

Ehh, Simpson I take it?

That’s all fine and good but the Mays boys and Smith didn’t develop as the season went on either. I can’t see a full year changing much if anything. Covid didn’t change wanting to play for the man but as the season went on the players stopped listening so...

Who? I wasn’t speaking of anyone in particular with my comment.

Pretty sure Crouch came here wanting to play LB and the staff said he’d get a look there - which played a big role in him coming here in the first place.
