Excuse me, what? "No one has built one"
2017 - first ESD
Cincinnati hires Fickell 2017, 35-14 with only his first season being less than 9 wins, has back to back 11 win seasons that's not "built?"
Iowa State hires Campbell in 2016, 35-28 with 4 straight 7 win seasons, that's in the Big 12 at Iowa State program has 20 total 7 win seasons, Campbell is responsible for 4 of them and is 1 of only 2 coaches to win 9 games there...I mean it's not Bama or Clemson, but that's pretty built
Texas A&M hires Jimbo and he's won at least 8 games every year he's been there with this season's 9-1 team arguably being more deserving of the CFP than 2 of the teams selected above them...isn't that pretty built?
Georgia hires Kirby and he's had 3 straight 11 win or better seasons, not built?
Florida hires Mullen and he's had 8 or better all 3 seasons, and back to back 10 win seasons
UHC hires Mack Brown and he's won 7 or better in both seasons, with this year being the first time they've been ranked top 5 since Mack's last tenure there
I just don't buy that, unless your definition of "built" is being Bama/Clemson...which to be fair can't happen while those programs exist. To me building a program means competing for conference titles every year or being within a game of it.
