I think if they make a change these are the three they will go after in order.

1. Gus
2. Herman
3. Marrone

I think, if we make a change one of these will be the new coach.

If that falls through, my guess is we're looking at Marrone, Napier and Chadwell. The longer it drags out, the less inclined Napier and Marrone will be to take over late in the process.

I think we end up at Chadwell - or maybe some mystery candidates we're not thinking of right now.

at this point i'd be shocked if they had a list, and if they do, i'm leaning more towards they've been told "not interested".

which is why they haven't fired pruitt yet, and this investigation deal is just a way of buying time.

i don't know how you sell it to pruitt that we want him to be here at this point. and i have no idea how you sell this situation to a prospective candidate that is probably living large on a buy out and can wait for something better.

DUMB.

No clue. The fact that this investigation is taking this long, and Pruitt has lawyered up is not a good sign any which way you look it.

If it was a minor violation, something would have been released and we would provide a show cause or self impose.

What do you think he’s waiting on?
He either can’t hire coaches or he can’t find any willing to come on board!
Nobody’s winning or nothing is decided until the investigation has determined enough to proceed one way or the other

With one week before the start of the 2021 season, it will finally be confirmed that Pruitt has the ability to hire assistant coaches and only then an OL and DL coach will be hired.

I have been with you in my thoughts they aren't going to make a change. I'm beginning to think however a change will happen in the next week. I don't see a path to put all this back into the bottle.

If Fulmer is leading the search, Fulmer will almost 100% go talk to Marrone first and then Steele. Like it or not, that is what he knows.

If those don't work out and get the green light, then i can see them kicking the tires on the Herman's and Gus's of the coaching world.

After that who knows.
