Not trying to do a dirty drive by... haha

I still got close friends on the hill and would never want to burn a bridge there. Which is why i didn’t go into detail about the investigation when i got wind of it. (I still don’t know exactly what it’s about, i just know it’s a compliance/Thornton center vs a couple football staffers including CJP).

The reason i said ruh-roh was because i trust info that Pruitt absolutely cannot offer contracts to any assistants (even tho he has spoken with some) and this investigation has gotten to the point where he is basically calling UTs bluff. “Fire me or gtfo out of my way” is the text i got.

I know we want to pile on Pruitt, but I don't have a problem with him saying that. They are handcuffing him with potential hires if they don't fire him. Time to move on one way or the other.

I’m saying that CHANDLER isn’t good. No matter how much you coach a guy, sometimes they just don’t have it, see JG. Don’t move the goalposts either. I’m only talking about RBs. So here’s a question, Gray being obviously better that Chandler is an indictment on who?

That’s just pure talent and natural abilities.

“Snitched” is a poor word. The compliance office is in place to protect us from the SEC/NCAA. Basically our Toby (office reference).
Call it what you want. At the end of the day, this is all internal that became external due to a snitch.

Well, I don't disagree and believe that schools can make bad decisions. Those fired coaches can be successful somewhere else like Barnes.

But the discussion was "proven longterm success." Herman doesn't have that. Plus, I juts realized today that he lost to TCU 3 out of 4 times. TCU had records of 5-7 and 6-4 in 2 of those seasons. Seriously, that is akin to UT losing to Vandy. That gets you fired at Texas.

I’d take Gary over Tom. Everyday and twice on Sunday.
Gets more from his players almost every year

Thamel is stirring the waters. There is no smoke around Marrone. Unless there are major recruiting violations, Pruitt will be here two more years.
If Atlanta Vol is accurate, all bets are off. If we have recruiting violations, hopefully it will not scare off any potential hires.

I don’t think it’s that simple. No one is “in his way”. Knowing a little bit how compliance works... they are probably in communication with NCAA and are trying to decide what to report to them and what they can do to “self penalize” so the NCAA doesn’t have to step in. So when writers say the “ncaa isn’t the ones investigating” ... yes that’s partially true. But only because we are doing it for them.

There’s also a good likely hood that NCAA asked us to investigate this because of someone turning us in
