can confirm the infractions have now turned from being focused solely on some assistant coaches and improper benefits to the being focused on that and the role the head coach played in that as well as other violations the head coach may have been involved in. the wheels are indeed turning and the tone of the investigation has completely changed as well.

How's he going to get Steele and Steele's staff here?

If you can't answer that, I'd love to know how the 60th ranked nationally offense wins us 10 games with no defense to speak of.
Maybe that’s part of the package, Steele comes with him.

Malzahn has never had a losing season in the toughest division in all of CFB, he’s beaten Saban three times and played for a Natty...he’s good enough to be Pruitts replacement.

What names are you hearing for a potential replacement?

Is Gus the likely replacement?

ding dong the bammers gone

So for those that think the Texas HS players have peaked or are overrated, the bama #1 class has 7 out of 26 commitments from Texas...seems that they might have missed that overrated Scouting report...
Top ranked 2022 QB is in Southlake Texas and committed to Ohio State...

Just a FYI 🤠
Anybody who lives there has eye rolls on speed dial when that nonsense gets spouted.

I'm just trying to keep up. This morning UT was hiring Doug Marrone. This afternoon is turning toward Gus Mahlzan. Who will be the name mentioned tonight?

Write down the names of all the recently fired NFL and college coaches and throw a dart and you’ll have VN’s next darling

I think most of you are really over shooting Freeze's chance of getting a big job. It's clear that he has a toxic reputation in football insider circles. Whether he's actually a good coach or not doesn't seem to matter at this point. You really think Auburn boosters preferred Harsin over Freeze? South Carolina boosters wanted Beamer over Freeze? I think he's still wearing the scarlet letter in the eyes of SEC brass.

If you think about it, Rick Pitino (who has a much stronger overall resume than Freeze) could only get the job at Iona at all places. Sometimes, it doesn't matter how good of a coach you are. It's not like Rick got to walk into a Power 5 job after a prostitution scandal.

So the silver lining here, is that Freeze will likely be available next year if we don't make a move. He'll have another season for that stink to fade from his rep, which may make him more viable.

Did you follow the Auburn search at all? Steele and Gus hate each other now. Steele got Gus fired and Gus supposedly helped torpedo Steele's hiring as HC.

Gus isn't bringing Steele or Steele's position coaches.

We would have Gus's high school offense that even Pruitt knows how to stop and that's it.

Jesus. I have so many Auburn fans laughing at me for being a UT fan already. If we hire Gus because our administration doesn't understand why he was fired I'll never hear the end of it.

What potential program consequences are we looking at?

Sounds like somebody folded like a cheap lawn chair and rolled on Pruitt
