Agreed... When a part of the fanbase is to the point where they can convince themselves that a coach with a losing record (overall) is a good hire, they deserve what they get IMO...

It is insane..why fire Pruitt to take a dude that won't do any better? This would infuriate me.

Henry could lead the league in rushing yet again next year, especially if the defense improves and the Titans don't have to throw it as much to keep up. Henry has been a known quantity for a long time now and teams still can't stop him.

Unfortunately, it's exactly what the decision makers would do. They can't agree on anything, so they compromise on some dud and sell it to the fanbase..

Business as usual....

If Henry has great O-line play, I'm convinced he's absolutely unstoppable. The stiff arm is simply impossible for second and third-level defenders to deal with because his arm is so long it keeps those defenders from even being able to touch him, much less tackle him. And his open field cutting abilities, once he's had a chance to get going, are really underrated and deceptively quick.

No...at least not officially. He had signed that extension with the huge buyout before the end of the season, so it was a non-starter back then. He was top of my list back then now he’s everybody’s. They’d easily pay that now imo but he’s not interested in moving south...for a college gig at least.

Eh, it doesn’t make me overly excited. But anyone who follows the NFL and college knows the differences. Butch Jones could never make it to a conference championship game in the NFL. People got to look past numbers, just like Mehlen.

Exactly. Attempting for a "home run" hire results in quite a few stirkeouts, especially at UT. We can't even bunt for a single with the 3rd baseman playing on the outfield grass. Let's hit a double in the gap (which Marrone would be) and then we at least got a runner in scoring position for the following coach.
