Cross out Napier and Chadwell. Don’t want them.

Herman or Malazahn would be an ok hire.

Campbell, Freeze, and Fickell are the ones we should be contacting first.

Nieds will be asked to move on IMO
I hope Ansley goes back to the NFL

Marone sucks as a hire. Going 25-25 at Syracuse is easier than competing vs Bama Uga and Uf every year. Its hard to come on as a .500 coach and kick start a losing program like UT. Its gonna take someone that has coached at a major college program and is proven. I like O'Brien, pennst after a rape scandal, in a major conference is a tough gig. We all thought pennst was finished. I like O'Brien a lot better than marrone but there are better coaches available. I would take herman, kiffin, freeze, over both.

If Pruitt came back and won 8 games next year they wouldn't be much different than Marrone.

Pruitt isn't winning 8 next year so lets not operate in fantasy but it should be pointed out Marrone had success at Syracuse when no one else had. Do I think Marrone is a homerun hire? I don't know maybe, it depends on who he brings with him but I do know he's a great people manager and thats what it takes to be successful. I certainly think he's better than what we have now and I also believe he's a better option than Chadwell or Napier.

It's pretty impressive, considering teams know he's the feature. And with COVID and losing Lewan it's even more impressive, especially since his 17 TDs is 3 more than anyone else to have more yards in their 2k seasons. He also had just 3 fumbles.

TD had more TDs & fewer fumbles, but that Broncos team also had Elway, Smith, Sharpe, & McCaffrey and went 14-2. Also TD needed 14 more carries and finished with 19 less rushing yards.

Well yeah I would love to have Kiffin or Freeze here but I don't think UT will make those type of moves, they don't have the balls

And sometimes we pick out things to justify a .500 record as being good..

They want to hire Marrone, fine whatever. At this point, I expect nothing less from the folks running the show in Knoxville.. Forgive me if I believe it would be very meh, BORING hire...

It was a little extreme. But I remember when he was hired. I was so excited from reading on him. Then a few months later, my neighbor went to a practice and said he was not good. He said he wanted to step in to some drills and show them what to do.

DH's 20+ and 40+ rush numbers are insane, especially considering his size and the band aid make shift oline the titans have had to use all year.
