Martin was the unfortunate coach here when Bruce's show-cause expired too...I feel like any one sitting at UT during that year would have had fans calling for his head.

We lucked out that Barnes was even available, and it's worked out for us as he sets at 65% right now with arguably his best seasons yet to come.

He was tied for 1st his final year. Didn't win it outright and the Big East sucked too

He went 4-8 then 8-5, then 5-7 and 8-5 again. Heck Butch won 9 games twice!

If Pruitt came back and won 8 games next year they wouldn't be much different than Marrone.

remember no matter who you believe in all of this boosters aren’t United so while I doubt DM would change that and bring everyone together I would bet my ass the opposite wouldn’t be true either. They all aren’t going to unite against him either

It also didn't help that even a casual basketball fan like myself saw that there was such a contrast of styles between Bruce and Cuonzo. It would be like going from Spurrier to Tressell.

You would think if we were to do something either way, It would have to be soon. A lot of coordinators are coming off the board. Unless they have their guy and his assistants idk.

The fact Chadwell AND Napier both didn't already take other SEC jobs is what I've built my hopes/dreams on that Pruitt is still getting shown the door.

Staff has OL/DL openings and if they don't retain Tee/Nieds that'll be 2 more spots. If some of these other coaches leave it'll really make it hard to keep him with that many new staff changes, imo.

Would be all in on any one of those names too wouldn't have to convince myself it "might work"
