Does anybody here really think Saban or Smart has to worry about dumb isht like that? And then we wonder why we are in the mess we are on..
No kidding.... remember when banks got pulled over..... Pruitt said he didn’t have to deal with this sh$t at Alabama..... they took care of the players old school style.Does anybody here really think Saban or Smart has to worry about dumb isht like that? I like Napier, not sold on Chadwell just yet, but I think Herman is as good an option as either. Much like both, he found success at a smaller school when he was at Houston. JMO, but I think Herman's struggles at Texas are overblown.
Herman and Napier are probably the most realistic candidates, but we are UT. Pruitt will be back next year, and when we eventually do hire a coach, it'll be a McGoogle.
Yea, when was the last time Alabama had an ineligible player for academics? If you google it, a recruit pops up for 2018. That’s just initially cleared by the NCAA. Beyond that, there’s an article about them being on probation a few years after Saban got there. Doesn’t happen.
Not if you are pushing them to do something they are not physically capable of doing. There is a point where you have to realize you are not going to get anything more out of them no matter how much you want it, or even how much they might want to do it. Then you have to start putting them in situations where they can succeed. Take JG for example since the QB position is the one everyone sees. Do you think DM or LK could have managed him better? Would it be because they turned him into PM or because they used what he had? There was an old saying that Bear Bryant could beat you with his players, or he could beat you with yours if you switched.
The state of Alabama, city of Tuscaloosa, and Bama campus have all “bought in”.Yea, when was the last time Alabama had an ineligible player for academics?
