You just stated this has been the worst football season of your life.
The 2 people directly responsible are CJP and the AD(Fulmer) that hired him.
These are the 2 you expect to straighten this mess out?
Jeremy is going to do basically the same he’s been doing for 3 years and magically it’s going to work this time?

KY is like a police state compared to TN when it comes to covid restrictions, yet they found a way to come into Neyland and kick our @$$. It would also make more sense as excuse if they started out struggling and got better, but the opposite was true.

Even Hubbs and co came out a while back and essentially admitted that Pruitt and co handled the covid stuff poorly.

Everyone just needs to quit throwing this out there as an excuse for Pruitt, it’s been debunked.

Obvious inside AD employee here. This is pretty sad how low the program is when they get on a free message board to sell crap to the natives. Just give it up dude.

I keep coming back to the DL coach getting fired the way he did. Felt like that's around the time the wheels came off this season. Wonder what that type of decision does mentally for the rest of your staff? For Ansley who recommended him? For the players who just started to listen to that coach?There was a hundred better ways to let him go. I think it was short sighted and probably undermined him in the eyes of the rest of the team. Whether it was ultimately the right decision or not.

And if he didn't even interview him? It's his own fault.

And yesterday was Jan 2nd, a month after Texas assured everyone Herman was not going to be fired. And yet he was.
People making these kind of decisions don’t operate on the fan’s timetable, and they can do a 180 so fast it’ll make your head spin.
Don’t assume anything until it happens

Appreciate that. As the old saying goes, perception is reality. As of now, the perception is that’s Theres an issue from the top down.
Fulmer is Pruitts boss. If he’s as involved in film and game prep, and practices as rumored, why didn’t he meddle in Pruitts decision to keep trotting JG out there? Why weren’t our younger, better athletes getting more meaningful reps? Many here would never question Fulmers dedication to UT, but most would question whether he’s qualified to be a successful AD? I truly think pride is most likely blurring the long term vision of both Fulmer and Pruitt.

You misunderstand my comments. I don't think he can get it done. I don't think he's the answer. I never thought he was the answer. I think he was a ridiculously bad hire and I don't think the guy who hired him should get a mulligan. And frankly, it's going to come back and bite everybody in the ass at some point. But I also think when you're stuck with something for a while longer, you can either try and make it better where you can or you can keep doing the exact same thing without making any changes at all.

It wasn’t a state rule..... it was rules implemented by the university..... I’m sure Pruitt handles it poorly..... some people handled it well and some handled it poorly..... that is in every business..... state... at my daughter’s high school.... they eliminated the jump ball from basketball and are not allowing runners to score on passes balls in baseball..... tell me how that makes any sense..... I fail to see the point of how different coaches handled a pandemic when hopefully we can get back to some sense of normalcy by this summer.

I've said it before, we've been paying two head coaches simultaneously for about the whole time.

They have Del Conte. He doesn’t limit himself. I still believe Herman was safe until the top QB prospect in the 22 class flipped to tOSU. That set off the Urban pursuit and Herman was never safe afterwards.
