I'd leave too. Passed over for HC, and we need a good DC. I doubt Pruitt would let him have free reign with the defense though. With someone like Steele or Muschamp, he'd have more time to grow into the HC position not having to have a hand in everything. If you hire a position coach, let him coach.

It's a weird year for a lot of teams. Bama is 31st in total D. I think Bo Pelini is probably better than 124th total D at LSU

Am I remembering correctly when It was thought that Dooley was going to hire Steele until that game. He then hired Sunseri.

I think it boils down to total team chemistry.
I just don’t see us having good team chemistry no matter who the coordinator’s or position coaches are as long as Pruitt is the head coach.

That was 1 loss. I would hate to have a coach that consistently has a top 15 team to take over our consistent top 100 team.
