Actual video of @UTK shooting his shot.
insider status, denied.
Pro tip...
in the future be more vague. Say things could get interesting between 12-4. Throw an emoji in there. When nothing happens, come back and say something changes. Old money beat out new money for now. Etc.
Improving at the position year-over-year is different than ultimately becoming a really good downfield passer. His improvement from Freshman to Sophmore was about as dramatic as possible.
his improvement from sophmore to junior was small
his improvement from Junior to Senior was significant
It’s honestly crazy to me we are having this chat.
#3 In passing yards, #1 in TD’s, #1 in 20+ yard TD’s, #1 in QBR, #3 in Y/A(.1 behind Kelly), #2 in completion%(behind only Sean White)... Oh and he had those stats while being #8 in attempts. So imagine how many more yards and TD’s he woulda had if he got 100 more attempts like Lock. Or 50 more attempts like hurts and Allen. Doing that with a below average pass pro O-lineDobbs wasn't as good at Austin Allen, Lock, or Hurts. And that wasn't a good crop of SEC QBs overall that year.
Well yeah, because none of those guys exactly set the college football world on fire. Where they ended up getting drafted or how good they are in the NFL is irrelevant to this discussion.Even if that were true, 2/3 you named are current NFL starting QBs, yet you follow with “wasn’t a good crop of SEC QBs”
AP and Hubbs have been saying a lot of recruits are reading the board and that fan response is hurting the recruiting. I wouldn't typically care, but if this staff is coming back, we need to land that in state class next year. It is loaded and could change the direction of the program.
If someone had told me three years ago that we would hire Pruitt and we would have these results, I would have much rather given him another year to try and figure it out. If he moved on from JG, who knows what could have happened. A lot of our losses were close unlike the blow outs we get now.

That wasn't a good crop of SEC QBs on an absolute basis - I mean, how good were those guys relative to the crop of SEC QBs this year or last year? It was a mediocre crop of QBs overall.
