'20 GA ATH Arik Gilbert (LSU commit)

Asked around some today. Obviously, Arik has always been quiet and that hasn’t changed in a year. The general consensus has been LSU is trying to keep him, obviously, but many around him believe he is likely to leave. Now, on where he would go if he transfers, even the people closest to him feel in the dark. Tennessee and Georgia were the options mentioned to me the most. I think Florida also has some appeal. I do think the Vols are a real option at this point, if he does actually enter the portal. One other thing to note is Pruitt made it very clear how highly he thinks of his ability the first time around and that’s something that always stuck with Gilbert during that recruitment. Vols were a lot closer on the first go around than many realize.

I'm sure Pruitt would take Gilbert and move him to CB

We have a winner. I was shocked in the Vanderbilt game to discover that we actually had a tight end on the field. When a tight end comes to Knoxville, it's like they've entered the witness protection program.
Maybe we haven’t had a good one in a while

It felt like Shrout/ Bailey both got the TE's involved. Fant looked like a servicable player when JG wasn't in at QB.

Yeah it was pretty obvious after JG was benched that we suddenly had tight ends again which blows my mind that you allowed a QBs to start that you weee afraid to use the middle of the field with. It also isn’t a coincidence that we started to use TE more once Gilbert rumors started.
