Here's a question. What record in 2021 will it take for you guys to believe in Pruitt again?

8-4?

9-3?

For me, if he's not 8-4 or better he HAS to be fired. But who knows with Phil...

I’d like to see him go at 8-4 if we get blown out again by UGA UF and Bama. If we’re competitive or we beat one then he’s ehhh.

5 year rebuild, yes. But progress should at least be evident by year 3.

It's all subjective but who knows what our season would have looked like with a normal year of practice and no disruptions. I believe there are two reasons UT will not make a change this year.

1. Disruption of normal football operations due to Corona
2. The extension of Fulmer and Pruitt at the beginning of the year

These are just my opinions but I believe they're valid

For me, 8-4 with one of the four being one of Bama, UF, or UGA. Problem then is, which team that we shoulda beat did we lose to?

His defenses at UGA weren’t that good and he was at FSU for one year with mark stoops players. He’s not that good and the Saban defense has been figured out

Some of you need to actually research things first:

"In 2014, Pruitt joined the Georgia coaching staff as the defensive coordinator. His 2014 defensive unit finished 17th nationally in total defense, and finished in the top ten in turnover margin and passing yards allowed. Pruitt's 2015 unit at Georgia finished the season ranked seventh nationally in total defense, and led the nation in fewest passing yards allowed per game."

I can't find the efficiency numbers (if there are any), but he absolutely improved the UGA defense from the year before he was there.

Who is defending his defense at TN in 2020?

Bruin and anyone else who thinks Pruitt shouldn’t be fired.

A. Didn't someone post Pruitt hasn't even met with anyone in the admin today?

B. Where is the vote of confidence ? Not that hard to do and if you are keeping him why wait?

C. Why are other schools hiring and firing folks during holiday break? Reports were Pruitt was told to hold off on an offensive line coach.

D. Pretty sure AV would just come out and say it if he was 100% coming back.
