Outside of the big 3, virtually everyone is the same that we play next year. Except Ole Miss. Kiffin will hang 50 on us. 8-4 is the ceiling for this team next year. So we're looking at 6-6 to 7-5 at best imo

Like I said these things are fluid (although some can’t wrap their mind around that) and can take unexpected turns. I didn’t see any way after what all I was told he could be back but here we are. After hearing all this and the candidate pool, I believe it is best he returns next season. I do believe they will give him every resource to be successful next season within reason. I also believe that his seat will remain hot and he will need to show a lot of progress next season. If he is not I believe they will move swiftly and have a plan in place. They were not prepared for this season to be as bad as it was along with all the off the field issues. Again, it’s not completely over and nothing would surprise me at this point but I believe Pruitt returns.

Sheep, understand that you can be out on the state of the program and still be a fan. You don’t have to root for mediocrity, you don’t have to root for incompetence. It’s your choice wether you follow blindly or want something better. It works both ways. Don’t question people’s fandom because they don’t have the same outlook. I’ve been a fan for 25 years, I’m out on the state of the program, I want what’s best for the Tennessee football. Whatever way, shape, or form it comes in.

Every single program skirts ncaa rules..... nobody even knows for sure what the staff was accused of......if its true and he stays then it’s pruitts job to figure out how to get the kids in here.... I believe we do have young talent here but we didn’t have the off season to get the young kids ready and Pruitt felt more comfortable with the veterans.... my hope is he is able to get those young kids ready to go this season.

If Pruitt is back he has two goals to accomplish. 10 wins and hit the 22 class out of the park. If he does both then he will win back favor. Simple as that. But I almost laughed at the though of him winning 10 games

We aren't winning more than 6 games next year. There is no help coming in at pass rush. Nobody can play corner outside of Bryce.

Not to mention the complete **** show that was our offense this year. But he'll probably get an extension by winning 6 games and only losing to Georgia by 17 this year. Can't wait to see the nail-biting game against Pitt next year.

Honest answer. 8-4 . But not that simple. He needs to have a shot at winning the BIg 3 in the Fourth Quarter. He needs to not get blown away in the 3rd Quarter and he needs to PROVE he can more hands off on the Offensive side and he needs to simplify his Defense.

We will see the usual "He did better" "Remember last year folks when the kids didn't get S/C or Spring, they are playing catch up" "Pruitt is close"

I hate Pruitt as a coach and think he’s overrated as hell. You’re right. Numbers don’t lie. Worley dropped 32 on them in Athens. Treon Harris and that bad 2014 florida team scored on him. Then basically every good team they played scored on them
