Apparently turned down Arizona as well.

If he's smart he'll stay where he's at until a no-brainer becomes available.

I take it the Pruitt firing has been changed to a later date. I thought today was the day? Just fire the clown already. The longer this drags out,the better the chances that the clown is here another year. Tn always screws it up

Yeah smart move, I would turn down Arizona in a heartbeat. They don't give a fuuuu about the football program, the fact Sumlin failed so badly there makes me think it's a career killing place ATM too.

Ok guys, I just got a conflicting report from someone else that I trust deeply. He said aside from the stubbed toe, the admin has learned pruitt has an early doctor appointment on the morning. Nothing to be alarmed about, just a routine check-up. Admin feels that it would be unfair to make/announce a decision on a day pruitt had an early doctor appointment. Was told Jan 2 will be quite the interesting day. I trust this guy and he has never been wrong before. I'm just passing the info along.

I disagree on Gus being trash but I believe that it could build a fire into Gus again. Expectations are lower here the first couple of years. He should have a winning record next year. Then consistently build the program into a good program. After the second year, 8-4 should them be the minimum. 5-6 years down the road if he’s still holding at 8-4 a decision has to be made.

We first have to get out of the cycle of replacing a coach every couple of years and flipping the roster as well. We first have to reach a consistency stage of football (8-4, 9-3), then we can reach the elite stage (competing for championships).

This is what happened in the Majors to Fulmer transition. Johnny could only do so much. Fulmer too until he got the right staff in place.

Nothing but we find out Pruitt has Covid.

“Well they won’t fire him over Christmas break and over zoom so it’ll be the 30th earliest but could be waiting on the investigation to end.”

Enter Dec. 30th

“12pm-4pm will be the timeframe if they fire him today.

Just pulling some legs here but it just seems this is all fan built drama and speculation to ultimately be dumped on.
