I'm indifferent about this. One hand, yeah, she shouldn't have said it, but she was also a delusional kid who seems to have educated herself since. The guy who held on to the video is a real psychopath, imo.

I don't think being forced to withdraw was the right decision.

Florida and Tennessee are similar. Win and recruiting will take care of itself.

Sadly though I don't think Gus or Freeze are real possibilities, at least if Fulmer is trying to backseat coach as AD.

So I suppose with those rumors circulating I'm not sure I'm even excited for Fulmer to pick another HC since he'll favor inexperience so he can be involved "helping" the program. I grew up watching the Fulmer era, I'm sure a lot of you did too...it was beyond frustrating to see how badly he could make those teams full of elite talent look at times. I honestly believe if not for Peyton Manning Fulmer's entire HC career would have been completely different.


(in other words I know what -he- is capable of as a HC, and I don't want to see that again)

I think If Pruitt wasn’t a “no ******** just footbaw southern good Ol boyl” personality he would get far more fan hate then he already does. Not to get all woke but the majority of our fanbase fits that description and i think it made Pruitt feel more like “one of us” so fans wanted him to succeed sooo bad and they never really felt that connection with this butch, Dooley, or lane.

bull. the thing TN fans all agree on regardless of dialect...win, you're a hero. lose...gtfo. and losing was/is butch's, dooley's and pruitt's problem.

and kiffin was polarizing because of who he was replacing....that's it. as evidenced by the udder outrage at has midnight departure...otherwise, no one would have cared.

Nobody cares about any of that. Over half the state worships a Silver Spoon born, New York Elite that wakes up every morning and puts on orange makeup.

I’d venture to say people were massively let down to hire Pruitt, but rational enough to give him a chance. He failed, so here we are.

Pruitt couldn’t figure out which QB to start.
Couldn’t get coaches to develop players
Couldn’t field a defense that was consistent at anything other than giving up yards and points that reached Sal levels.
Is worse than Dooley, acts like Saban, and treats people like Butch
Has Gus ever had to replace assistants at the rate of Pruitt?
Pruitt is uninterested, and lost.

Gus isn’t the best but Tennessee can do a lot worse

STOP USUNG JG AS AN EXCUSE FOR ALL 3 YEARS HERE. Year 1...fine. Year 2... i say no but sure I’ll play along. Year 3.... absolutely no excuse. No one is asking you to find cam Newton or Russell Wilson but you mean to tell me in three cycles you can’t find a “mediocre” qb out of high school, juco, or transfer portal. I’m not buying that.

The problem is While he has signed some good players...he has absolutely whiffed on the two most important position groups on both sides of the ball... QB and DL and his development skills elsewhere can’t make up for it.

Pruitt is a better coach than Gus once you conclude that being handed Kevin Steele as a DC is not a skill. I hope you all do not have to spend two years learning that. Save yourself some trouble and go sit down with an Auburn fan.

I’m with you. Nothing about what may have been said to provoke her response, if anything? My opinion means absolutely squat in this, but it’s sad the world we live in. Dysfunctional admin aside with coaching, this paints a worse picture in my mind of a school I love, and I didn’t even go there!! Lol

Agree to disagree bud. The others coach aren’t painted like criminals the way butch is.... even though he won more than any of them. I think we can agree on that.
