I only have cold symptoms. The only crazy symptom I’ve had is elbow inflammation, like I just threw 9 innings in the World Series. Crazy I know...
My worst thing is joint pain right now. It hurts to bend my fingers and if I sit for a while I am completely stiff all over and it is really hard to move. Its really weird how its so different for everyone. My wife has no joint pain, but an entirely different set of problems.

From Ubben's Exit Interview at The Athletic:

What made you decide to enter the portal and look elsewhere?

Everyone likes to talk about Coach Pruitt and badmouth him and badmouth the staff, but at the end of the day, I have no problem with anybody on that staff. No individual person. They went over and beyond for me. They’ve been absolutely great through everything, especially with my injury.

But moving forward, going to a different school would be in my best interest. I’m trying to play at the next level and I’m predominantly a blocking guy, but I can run most of the route tree. I know my limitations, but at the same time, to be out there and just be blocking 95 percent of the time and not even have the opportunity to catch balls isn’t in my best interest moving forward.

Me and Coach Pruitt talked about that. I talked about it with multiple coaches on the staff and we all came to the agreement that it’s in my best interest moving forward for me and my family to go somewhere that’s going to use me as an all-around tight end and not a predominantly blocking tight end and catch maybe three or four balls.

When did you know leaving was going to be in your best interest for your future?

The problem was you had two younger guys, Princeton Fant and Jacob Warren, who hadn’t really played a lot of football. So I know the playbook was kind of toned down from the aspect of what they had to do.

We brought in extra linemen to block. I think Cooper Mays played some tight end for us and so did Riley Locklear. They tried to take as much responsibility off them as possible. But I don’t know, as the year went on, not catching the ball or not even having the opportunity to be in the passing game and a very limited run game, I don’t know, the writing was on the wall for me.

CLEAN HOUSE!!!
Our offense is set in the 80’s

What was he able to sell? JG can under throw a 50/50 ball to you? You've got to look at area too. His territory appears to be Alabama and Tennessee. When he was at USC, he did pretty well.
Tee Martin, Assistant Head Coach (FB), Tennessee Volunteers

He is in a tough spot. I think Tee could do well as a head coach. Hell, Pruitt is a walking dumpster fire.

I would love for Tee to get a HC job at a G5 or lower level, be wildly successful for a few years and come back to UT to take over the reins as a proven HC.

Can’t blame him for leaving then. Just like no one could blame Wolfe for flipping to Ole Miss.

This is also the reason it was silly of posters to think Arik Gilbert would transfer here if he even transfers.

Getting ready to board a flight to Dallas from Nashville. My daughters are excited and a little rambunctious and I guess started to annoy a gentleman behind them. I was worried about it until I saw he was wearing an Alabama shirt with a houndstooth hat and matching houndstooth mask.

He deserves everything he gets for looking that douchey.

get them to recline their seats all the way back into his lap

i'm assuming this is Pope. but i don't really see the issue here? sounds like a coach or coaches, and the player, having an honest conversation, and allowing a decision to be made as a result.
at the end of the day, i think that's all you can really ask for, and it sounds like Pope seems appreciative of that process.

They won 2 last year 0-8 in SEC and lost to San Jose state and blown out by WKU. Their turn around wasn’t crazy and you can’t tell just by looking at the record. But they were very much improved and have a lot of hope going forward with Pittman
And, they beat us by double digits.

So apparently Chris Low shot down Freeze to UT again this morning on Swain Event.

Anyone worth paying attention to has repeatedly said UT would not take a chance on Freeze.

Take the win, which was apparently that Chris Low said it's still possible Pruitt is fired this year.

I’m finally on the mend I believe. Was in bed for a good 8 days with high fever most days. I kept a pulse ox meter and thermometer near by all times! They actually had me on a zpac and steroids. I believe that helped me out the most believe it or not. I hope you and your family get well soon. It’s a rough ride but you got this.

A lot on here dont like Pruitt, and even dislike him beyond Butch, and thats fine, but I am not one of those people. Butch was a trumpet blowing, carnival barking con man, that knew nothing about football. I think Pruitt knows football, he just doesn't know how to manage a team and the coaches underneath him, much less anything outside of football that comes with the job, and he is a very, very stubborn man.

Those are the main difference between the two. Similarities are their results are about the same on the field, which is ultimately what gets you fired.

I have no ill will towards Pruitt. He just wasn't up for the job. Again, the root of the problem always has been our admin/boosters. Until that gets fixed the HC position won't either.
