I understand that he has flown up the ranks but Tommy Reis is 28 years old and I’m not sure if he has complete reins of that offense. Giving him his first head coaching job now would freak me out.

First person I’ve seen with the stones to mention Wilson. Not sure he would win big in the SEC but he might and he’s sure AS HELL better than what we’ve got.

Aiming higher is great, but Fulmer should have already done that behind the scenes before today. I'd call Chadwell this week to let him know he is being strongly considered. You dont want him to feel like (and appear like) a 5th tier choice. Someone will take a chance on this guy and just may hit a homerun.

Big assumption Fulmer actually has any plan lol

He rode Randy Sanders as an OC about 5 years too long with some of the best talent this program has ever had.

I've seen nothing out of him as AD to suggest he has learned any lessons since being fired.

McCall is a finalist for the Manning Award and threw for over 2000 yards with a 21:2 td:int ratio. Some of those fakes he was pulling running the ball against Liberty were insanely good.

Plays like Dobbs with less speed.

I would take that in a heartbeat right now.

Hugh Freeze/Luke Fickell

Those are my top 4 out of that group. With Freeze and Fickell being 1a and 1b. There is not a coach among those 4 that doesn’t have baggage of some sort or wouldn‘t get some sort of pushback for whatever reason, but I think all 4 could do good things. Most importantly... All have coached and won at a high level at big time programs as a head coach.

I'm pretty sure he is better than what we currently have coaching. Why not? Might be the next future Nick Saban or pre-heart attack Urban Meyer. Both these guys started their head coaching careers at small schools.

Of course phone calls are made behind the scenes to the Big Fish, but realistically I just don't see any of them coming (Campbell, Fickell, Sark, and certainly Gus). And so you make sure you call your fall backs/2nd tier the same week you call the big names to gauge interest.

I think it's very possible that Steve Sarkisian would be interested in becoming a head coach once again. However you would have to keep a short leash on him since he's an alcoholic who has never admitted he has a problem.

I really like Healy. Pulled off a huge miracle at APSU and has greatly improved Charlotte. I would actually pick him over Freeze.
