10 Signees from Tennessee in the last class out of a 25 limit. To include a transfer from Tennessee Cade Mays.

Also, I’m probably older than you. It’s funny how you have absolutely nothing to contribute but false statements and smug remarks.
Probably older than me? Lol what is this a contest? There's only 2 people concerned with age those under 21 and those about to die

So you think they would call all of them individually and say Pruitt is staying, instead of just releasing a statement one time?

Interesting. That makes zero logical sense, so that actually does sound like something they would do.
Whatever the situation, the people who need to know will be informed. Only the public needs a public announcement.

Does not mean it is right either. Everybody hating on Tee and Fulmer needs to remember our history. I am not saying we should keep them just because of that, just temper the hate a little.

What do you think about this? It is known widely by other fanbase that Fulmer mettle’s. Seems like this fanbase is finally waking up to it.
Fulmer SUCKS and is a cancer for this program. He for sure doesn’t want the NCAA sniffing around him...we will see how bad some donors want him gone as well...they certainly have and know the dirt if needed to make a change.
Here is the issue.....not a single good coach that would make the fanbase happy will come work for Fulmer. All of the rumors about how he acts as the head coach still have not only gotten around but have been confirmed by the current staff and those things travel very fast. I am quite close with a few big name coaches that are no longer coaching and based on their opinion ...no well known coach will want to work for PF.

8 with a bowl win. That means 7-5.

If 7-5 is good enough in year 4, then god bless UTAD's heart.
I was just replying to someone that said there is no way we win 8 next year when we won 8 the year before..... if Pruitt comes back..... I’m not as worried about the record as I am about looking like the program is getting on more solid ground.... something to keep building for.

I’m of the belief that if Bailey, Salter, and hopefully Martin can provide some stability at the QB position, a coach like Pruitt can find success here and end the past 15 years of dysfunction.

I think there is more than enough evidence this won't happen. Pruitt had his chance and he's blown it time after time at QB development, scheme, and management. He simply doesn't know how to run a team, especially on offense. We need a change before recruiting falls off even more.

Because I watched him play..and got lockdown from grinding my teeth so hard over his play in a lot of games..that's why.

Plus...I didn't say he was a bad QB, I said he was mediocre, and that was all that team really needed...hell Crappabama won a crap ton of NCs the last ten years with good, serviceable, yet mediocre QBs...there is nothing wrong with saying that.

Tee just got lucky, he happened to be the guy when the stars aligned and the defense took the step from great to elite and the RB room was packed with 4 NFL guys. (Lewis, Stephens, Henry, Bryson).

Not a knock on Tee at all, but when people forget you played a whole other season after '98 it says a lot about you as a player imo.

How is Fulmer's perceived in the coaching community today regarding his head coaching tenure? Do people think he was an awesome coach, overrated, etc.?

Putting the puzzle together. Pruitt is seemingly freed from quarantine in the next few hours. Strong hints of something being decided last night amongst the powers that be. A lot of trusted insiders still are under the belief he is gone. Tomorrow the 30th just seems to make sense. You can announce it. Then you have News Years, then early to mid next week you have the replacement announcement. I believe they want a quick replacement and not have a "search" appear to drag on. Now I think the question is Napier or Freeze? I think there's some divide on who would be the better hire.
The most dangerous lies are the ones you tell ourselves , believing the lies you tell yourself is the root of insanity.

Agree with this. But UT hasn’t been run like a Fortune 500 company (if the bottom line is Ws) in quite some time.

We have been run like the Sears of college football.
No more like the Walmart of college football, people pay for inferior products cause they are easy, cheep and close to home... we are all probably too loyal.

The night that Kiffin left. At the time, I'm pretty sure it broke the record for the number of people on the paid VQ forum.
This post reminded me of something I've been meaning to ask. Didn't there used to be a running count on VolNation boards showing how many were viewing? Does anyone know if it's still up? and if so, can you tell me where to look?

Fans will not get behind 8-4 especially if rhe losses are Florida, Georgia, and Bama. That would leave Pruitt 0-12 against them. Every single one of those 3 games should be coming down to the 4th quarter and be a coin flip and not a guaranteed loss

This is who we are now. 8-4 is the goal. 8-4 is success. If we ever beat one of those 3 again it's just icing on the cake, not the standard.

Have you seen their players? They look so small. It looks like a flag football or soccer game where players fall with a shove and any real tackle looked like it sent the runner into orbit or made him do 5 unintentional barrel rolls lol

They run a triple option they’re always going to be smaller but unless you see it all the time it can be tough to defend. It takes a lot of discipline to defend and sound tackling.

A lot of SEC teams don’t do either very well.
