Mimi Groves/UT revoked admission

Socialist woke professors who average $140K/year (80% national percentile but actually more so for the fact of low COL and no state tax in Knoxville) teaching students who borrow $37K/year for their tuition and scream socialism and a rejection of capitalism. What could go wrong?

I remember getting a call one night when I was at MTSU..... around 1:30 or so.... I said hello... the voice on the other end said “are you f’ed up?”..... I answered “no”.... the voice said ... “then come and get me. I’m at the Dodge Market over by Main Street and the cop gave me five minutes to run over here to the phone and get someone to come get us or he’s taking us to jail”..... I got there and two of my other friends were with him by the police car.... and one guy that went to HS with me that had been rumored to have screwed my ex GF during our break up. I got out and told the cop I was there to get “these three”..... he asked me about the other guy and I said “nah... F him”

He better hope that in 5, 10, or any other number of years into the future that this kind of thinking is still in vogue, otherwise he may find that the times have changed and he's the fool for what he said all those years ago. You'd think that with all the "new awareness" people would realize that you can't judge the past by today's standards. The real point is it's getting more and more obvious that the "woke" "cancel culture" movement is made up of pretty damn stupid people. Make that incredibly damned stupid azzholes.

Just to clear it up for everyone, this was the quote that is costing her admission:

"I can drive, n*****s!" (in reference to getting her learners permit).

That's it. That, sent as a snapchat to her friends. Way to stand up for what's right, UT.

Maybe she was hanging out with the brothers. Several one of them have been known to talk like that.

I wonder if she has a case against UT? She wasn't forced out due to any behavior while she was a student.

If it was me or my kid, I would flood UT's social media platforms with Jauan Jenning's tirade from 2017 and he was not only allowed to stay in school (and I doubt he was in good academic standing on his own) but let back on the football team. A bit of a double standard.

What years were you at MTSU?

Football stardom covers a multitude of sins.
From Pee-Wee to the NFL, very few to none of the players have not used the N word. Yet some think cheerleaders over priced at a dime a dozen. Tell any cheer-Mom that cheerleading is not a sport. If you live, you will have more double standard stories than you can say grace over.

Haha....I get it. Cheerleading is serious business for the moms.
