most seats will be full. i'd expect north of 85k easy. especially the first few games.

after the first few games and a couple of beat downs, normal attendance attrition will occur. but that's it.

Wouldn’t shock me. I would’nt be shocked if Pruitt is doing everything to be fired including letting people dig through our dumpster fire looking for good stuff for cheap.

Any coach that's been very successful on his level. They don't make a ton of money so you can get them pretty cheap and more favorable contract language. You're giving someone a chance they wouldn't have otherwise, at least at this point in their career. If you're going to gamble hedge your bet a little bit.

We dove in attendance in Dooley's last year. We dove in attendance in Butch's last year.

I agree the stadium will never be empty, but there is a massive difference between 50,000 and 100,000 tickets sold. We could easily reach a point where attendance is carried by opposing fan bases just like Vandy. Easily.

Hope springs eternal to some degree, but that's the only thing bringing in fans. I assure you no one outside of maybe you is going to the games indifferent to the outcome because there is nothing else to do in a Saturday. There are dozens of better things to do in a Saturday.

I still think there’s a lot of digging to be done. It all goes back to Friend leaving. It just doesent add up why would your buddy leave when Pruitt handed him an extension for the same results

I was there from 91-97 for every home game until I left for college. Best times of my sports life. I want that for my son but watching us get waxed by Andy did it for me a few years ago. I’ll watch from home or put it on the radio but until we are competent again, I’m not wasting money on the game day experience. Moving over to TBA and our basketVols. That’s been a blast the past few years...

Attendance may remain but fandom and love for the football VOLs is dwindling down year by year. That’s worst but as long as UTAD gets their money, they don’t care. And by the time we’re as relevant as Minnesota, they’ll all be dead and we will be telling the stories of the 1990’s...

Plus we lose another year of development as there is little evidence that this staff is developing anything other than their egos.

Yeah I think there's a big gap between the fervor here and the general fanbase. If we are at an 8, they are probably at a 3 or 4. Ex: did a family zoom call on christmas, all big fans. Not a peep about "Pruitt should be fired" and they were already talking about necks year.

If we were the entire fanbase, then sure attendance could dive. As-is, our "dive" is the general fanbase's "slight pullback" imo.
