In normal times, this would be depressing news. As is, if we had landed him it would be endorsement of more of the same. So acceptable sacrifice imo.

Mine is of John Ward and Bill Anderson, the best broadcasting duo ever, in all of college football. I'm grateful I got to grow up listening to them.

I chose that avi because it's a constant reminder of what UT football can be. A top 10 program on all levels...... our on the field play, the All American players, Neyland Stadium, all the TN traditions, The Pride of the Southland Band, the nation wide fan base, and our legendary broadcasters. So much has changed in the last 20 years and The Big Orange is no longer respected like it should be. I miss being "us" and hope we get back there someday.

Can Freeze bring stability in the short term with the players jumping ship and Feb signing versus what's in place now? What's the consensus on here? IMO it's a big way to re-energize the program!

until we decide two weeks from now that we're keeping pruitt and we're THEN going to assemble the best staff that you can find in the dumpster pile of leftover coaches that no one else wants, or that we could get to come here for what looks like a 1 season audition.

Pruitt micro manages all of his coaches anyway. This way there will be no one in his way.

Freeze instantly brings excitement and energy to the program. On the offensive side I think it would blow up recruiting wise. It would depend on who he brought in defensively.

I doubt he’d keep Ansley.
