Here’s the thing in this. (To me)

If he was coming back for sure, all it takes is Fulmer coming out and saying he is. That hasn’t happened. Fulmer himself might not even know, which would make sense in him not coming out saying it. We haven’t interviewed an OL coach to my knowledge.

Hubbs’ quote tonight shows it’s not 100% certain he’s coming back. Really curious if Peyton is pushing for Pruitt to be fired or not. I’m hoping he really wants Arch in orange and wants to help install someone that he thinks would be good enough for his nephew.

JMO, Peyton will have little to no influence over Arch. I don’t even think he would want to steer him anywhere. This is a nephew, not his own child, and with a family deeply rooted in football to boot. Nor do I think he’s dealing behind the scenes for Tennessee. He’s political, loves the legend status, and would do nothing to interfere with that.

Mason would be a homerun as DC. I would love to see UT pair him with an HC like Freeze, Sarkisian, Napier, or Brown.
