The “anyone but Pruitt” sentiment has gotten a lot more popular the last few days. I’m starting to think the delay in firing him is to make as many fans as possible feel this way so that we’ll be more happy with who they want to hire instead of hiring Freeze.
I’ve have thought the same thing. They’ll probably screw it up like always. I’d love to see Freeze hired, but I’ve got my doubts. Our whole Athletic Dept. is jacked up

had to skip last 30 pages, couldn’t stand that bruin vol booster and his lying accusations against AV..... more importantly did I miss where that commie @utvols88 finally came to his senses about Diehard being a Christmas movie

What were the accusations made against AV by Bruin? I have him on ignore since he wrote a letter like SAB he was leaving and then came back. Please just share what he accused.

Jesus man you just don’t recognize a good coach when you see it.
I'm not a football guy. Guess, admittedly what i see and hear are based off of research and whats on TV. Never played a down of football. Played every other sport, some well, some not.

Point is, i know enough to know we HAVE to get this one right. I also know we cannot afford to keep Jeremy. Whatever that means.

He accused him of being a liar. He’s like an old dog that chews on the same bone. That’s all you need to know.

I am on the fence. He was mediocre at Ole Miss, but then again, it was Ole Miss. He also beat Saban and we cannot do that with all our resources.

I right now compare him to Mullen. Mullen did good for Miss St (good for them, would be mediocre for UT). So if we could get a coach like Mullen (which Freeze likely is), then I would be okay with taking the chance.
There was one huge difference between Mullen and freeze...... it was obvious to anyone paying attention the amount of money changing hands bc of the type of recruits ole miss was bringing in...... not only was freeze cheating like crazy but he was very bad at it.... I have no issues with freeze paying players but I do want him to be smarter about it.

Heeres
Freeze wants to be here. The fans want him here. Make it happen. It's not rocket science
Here's the deal for the powers that be. This is not pro football. UT is more than just football. As the HC, Freeze represents the university. In many important peoples eyes, people that dont really care about football, hiring him openly says, the BoT are are ok with foregoing integrity for "possible" football success.

So we hire a mush mouth arrogant prick that no one likes?

Yea makes sense. Smh

weve run the rpo for years...with a statue and then a Gaurantanomo.
RRPO, not RPO. I just made that up lol, but it looked like an RPO, but with the option of the QB running it. Not sure that was designed, probably just improvised by the QB, but I've always thought that could be an interesting designed option off an RPO.

Statues don't have to do with RPOs, just need quick decision-making and quick triggers. JG hardly did RPOs, but because he was too slow twitch and poor at throwing quick slants. Butch didn't run RPOs (afaik). Not sure we've ever consistently ran that much RPO at UT, though Chaney gave HB and BM more RPOs it seemed.

Worley Statue

I'm just glad someone hired Friend away from us. South Carolina must not care about an offensive line or they thought ours was the best in the country.
What's wild is he had very good stints at progressing OL units at CSU and UGA. Someone said he and Chaney weren't on the same page, idk. Just odd a successful coach at multiple stops suddenly can't do it under Pruitt and Chaney...
