Unfortunately there’s not one that will have us competing for even the East on a regular basis. Not one that we’d hire at least. Y’all are futile in your aspirations for Campbell, Napier or Chadwell. Good luck to you.
Damn alright. Since I’ve got you - how’s the stock market looking for the next 5 years? What’s the next Apple? Amazon? Google? Thanks man it’s always a treat to speak with someone so prescient.

So how depressed are we about the program this evening, is it a beer, moonshine or bourbon night?

Honestly, I think a spread style with elite pass catching TE play is where I’d go with offense. Ya got all these SEC teams running 3-4, and in the NFL the teams that have punished that defense all use the TEs more.

Gronk with Pats, Kelce with Chiefs, Titans with Walker/Jonnu, Saints with Graham, etc.

Closer to Paul Johnson, but don't see it that way. SEC linebackers are too fast and hard to get wide on, and there are too many strong interior DT's that will blow up the inside zone.

The Interior DL is my biggest question mark I’ll agree with that. But i think the spacing is more dependent on technique of DL as a whole but you’re also making a DT think more than just maul through the C or G. They will have to make reads and can open up some monster running lanes with over pursuit. Florida used to do a ton of it with Tebow and those fast RBs. They loved the inside shovel read too. I said earlier that i like how it gives us a recruiting niche too. Much like those Florida teams... very productive players like Jeff demps and Chris Rainer would prefer our offense over the bamas and Georgia’s

A lot of mismatches can be made in the passing game with TEs and RBs on LBs

It’s always going to be a risk, but we know what we have in Pruitt

I don’t think we have a shot at Matt Campbell, but that is a true homerun hire. Im not sure anyone is better that’s not already at a tier 1 job. I cannot imagine why any fan wouldn’t want a coach that has built Iowa State into a top program in the Big 12. Freeze would obviously be great hire. I don’t understand why this is even a difficult decision. Napier would be a good hire, but still risky, Chadwell is a definite roll of the dice.

My dream offense would utilize WR speed & size to stretch the field, but would use motion with RBs to help put LBs in 1 on 1 coverage against TEs/RBs.

Would like to see TEs & RBs pushing 30+ receptions a year.

The thing I’ve noticed most in this game - Napier has back to back 10 win seasons without a good QB. The dude makes the right reads (good coaching) but is terribly inaccurate. Plug in Bailey or Salter and let’s ride.
Or is he unable to develop a qb???? Lol
