His offense needs some tweaks, sure. I’ll buy that.Gus ****** sucks, his PoS offense sucks...I will be miserable if they hire him. I have zero confidence in him to do much better than Pruitt here, especially without Steele.
Send em all back to wherever they come from, pat em on the back and say "It is your choice, we understand" then cancel their scholarships and get new players that want to actually fulfill their obligations for the massively expensive free schooling they are getting for PLAYING SPORTS...not sitting around doing nothing for year after year..I agree, however, the way I read the article is that the players decided it. At the end of the day, they are the ones that are playing and going through the protocols.
Lol. 30 ppg gets you around 50th nationally the last 3 years. That's hardly something to hang your hat on. Can't use his national ranking in ppg or yards/game because they are pedestrian at best and "Pruitt-esque" at worst. You’re opinion is absolutely garbage, his offense has averaged over 30 ppg in his 8 years at Auburn.
He’s never had a losing season either.
Just like they have not been screaming from every rooftop available for people to stock up on Vit D and C and Zinc despite the overwhelming mountain chain of evidence that deficiencies in those, especially Vit D, is absolutely the cause of hospitalization and death in sooooo many people.Go to you tube and search it up. It's real and there's been very well respected doctors that have studied it's use and testified in Congress. The studies are really unbelievable. It's real. Big pharma nd hence politicians can't make trillions off it that's why you haven't heard about it.

Garbage opinion or not, I absolutely believe he would fail spectacularly at Tennessee, and nothing will change my mind besides being proven wrong...and IF we were to hire him I would 100% be hoping to be proven spectacularly wrong. I have had to watch AU games for years with the in-laws and I know what I saw.His offense needs some tweaks, sure. I’ll buy that.
But what we need is bigger than pure X’s and O’s football - it’s the ability to run a competent and competitive football program. Gus has done that for the better part of a decade at a similar-sized job.

Kevin Steele is why Auburn hasn't been a dumpster fire since 2016. Which is why they paid Gus 21 million to keep the same staff. Obviously the people who actually watch Auburn play understood who the problem was and who was the reason they were winning at all.

Malzahn hasn’t exactly been stellar at developing the QB situation.
That’s been my biggest knock off on him.
His high school offense can be effective with the right QB but again, can he develop that position?
He wouldn’t be my first choice but certainly not the worst we could do.
