It’s amazing how, in a crisis/pandemic where over a quarter of a million Americans have died in 8 months, the entire world and scientific community works their ass off to develop, test, and distribute a free vaccine that will save lives, opens up the economy more quickly, and allows us to get back to normal more quickly—yet despite all of that people post dumb memes that works to discredit the science

When they're that daft, yes. They are spitting pure dumbassery. I'm convinced both are either not all there or trolls form another program to be blunt.

I don't know if it can get worse, but I do know it is impossible for me to care less.

Going 0-12 for 5 years in a row would not make me feel any more apathetic about UT football than I felt this year.

I don't agree that even hiring a new coach is futile. We are one coach away. Butch Jones, Derek Dooley, and Jeremy Pruitt are all trash head coaches. They were trash here and they would be trash at any other major program. That isn't some curse from the fans or the incompetent administration.

I wouldn't say it is particularly likely our AD falls ass backwards into a good hire, but it isn't futile or impossible.

I don’t want Pruitt. Just don’t want perception of ncaa issues while doing the search. It hurts your talent pool and recruiting for the new guy. I just want Pruitt let go cleanly or not at all and see what he does when he has to play Bailey or Salter.

I saw what he said. How can he know what NCAA will or won’t do? Bruce Pearl gets fired for lying about a BBQ but Roy Williams and UNC don’t get anything for a Academic scandal and Will Wade is on tape offering prospects 6 figures and gets nothing. Auburn gets nothing for Cam Newton and ole miss gets hammered for same thing. There are a number of other instances where ncaa hammers the small infraction and lets the big infraction go. Look at Mullen getting a no off campus recruiting show cause in a pandemic year with no off campus recruiting allowed. The NCAA is not consistent and they are more likely to hammer the team already struggling or out of spotlight and not making them money than the teams making them money. The conferences also are willing to sacrifice certain ones to save their big money makers at the time. If your winning and making NCAA and Conference big dollars like Auburn, UNC, Florida and LSU were doing at time of scandals you get wrist slapped. If your not making big headlines you will be taught a lesson. It’s why you stay off their radar period

It's worth the risk imo man. We cannot lose out on the 22 class. We just can't. That will set us back. And besides the NCAA are a bunch of pussies. LSU basketball basically told them to f off and they tucked their tail in between their legs. They won't do anything. They're all talk and no show.

Big ten was trash this year and so was their schedule. Schiano was not the right guy for us at that time. He is the right guy for Rutgers as that is his home area. The kids needed someone they could trust their word after Butch. Schiano has been know to lie and is Butch on steroids. Pruitt despite not being kind to media and others is good to those kids and they love him back.

Good idea in theory. My concern would be their ability to work together. Not sure Pruitt is capable of doing that with anyone.
