Titans definitely hurt by missing on both those OLB pass rushers.

The defense without the pass rush from last season isn’t good.

I want Pruitt gone. Seen enough. But was thinking about this earlier if you look at his wins and he's beat everyone in the East two of the last three times we played them outside of Georgia and Florida. We are way behind them and I've been sick watching this year but over the last three years head to head would put us third in the East. What this really tells me is if we can a real dang football coach then we can close the gap quicker than most think.

People want Chadwell because of 1 really good season. We can't just keep screwing this up. We could have had some good coaches in the past, but we want bargain bin. We seemed to have wanted to put some money up last search, but because currie royal screwed up that search we ended up with a coordinator who's had elite talent his whole career.

The only two people that are either currently successful or had past success at a P5 school are Freeze and a retired Bob Stoops. I cant think of any others that would leave their job to come here. So its those two or you go with a guy from a smaller school.

Edit: unless you consider Gus a success, but outside of his first season he averaged almost 5 losses a year the last 7 seasons.

Here's the thing, with the incompentance of this program has been, fans need a sigh of a relief sooner rather than later. Is it more classy to wait until he gets back from his family matters and axe him right away? Just as dirty if you ask me. So in reality, the classy thing to do would be to wait a couple weeks. Even then that's not going to "soften" the blow. That would be downright awful for the fanbase. I'm sorry for his loss, but if the firing is coming either way, I'm sure he'd rather know sooner rather than having to worry about it. Sure if you're waiting for him to get back, I get it. I understand it. If you want to talk to him face to face, I can respect that. But why do I have a feeling this is going to be dragged out for a couple weeks while the people that be suddenly go "**** we gotta do something now." And royally screw up the situation.
