The Atlanta Braves

Except for the time he had arguably the greatest college player of all time, have Gus’s offenses actually been that good?!

No, but he’s a good recruiter, seems to hire good DC’s and would stabilize the program. And maybe he pulls a Barnes and is willing to change after being fired.

”chadwell isn’t interested” - flat top
I’m not sure why this is hard to believe. Being local he knows the complete ins and outs of the program (administration, boosters, fan expectations in relation to those things) and he isn’t a fan. Who can blame him? He would listen, but it’s not a slam dunk he would come here.

He makes $375K

Tennessee won’t be his only option. He is gonna get paid either this year or the next. He values his career too much to be sunk in a bad situation. This info comes from someone who would very likely be on his staff in an administrative role, it’s legit.

I have continuously glossed over coaching change talk just because, up until now, I assumed it was all talk and there was no way Pruitt was getting fired this year.

Is this really going to happen?

Everything is pointing in that direction. Team underperformed, coaching throughout the staff seems to be suspect, and now your one calling card (recruiting) is being called into question because it may have violated NCAA rules.

Not great.

Hubbs and Price have already thrown out candidates. Hubbs even came right and out said he is in trouble. That’s pretty much a given imo.

Me too until hubbs yesterday evening.

Now I think it’s whether or not fulmer goes with him.

He has a wife, three kids and his house isn’t paid for. He isn’t saying no to $30M.
