Like I've said before, I think the only change that needs to be made is to outline the numbers on the home jerseys in black, the same way they are outlined on the away jerseys. MAYBE outline the "T" and the stripe on the helmet in black just to give it some definition. Oh, and I am definitely in favor of orange road pants and an occasional all orange home uni. And keep the cleats black too!

That was actually a pretty good looking combo... Of course the brown leather helmets really made the look work better... Geez... I sound like some goof from the home shopping network...

Not going to happen and shouldn't. The home unis are classic and as good as there is in any level of football.

I like the all white look on the road, but don't really give a sh** what they do with those.

Another reason I'm glad cpf is gone, not wearing arnj road pants. The black cleats should also be standard.

I've also always wondered since the addidas switch, why they didn't do some game uni's with the trademark three stripes like the practice gear. It would look really good.

Otherwise, I wish UT would switch back to Nike.

Since when did UT use Nike products?...I go back a long way and the only brand names I remember were Riddell in the late 70´s and sports bell in the 90´s and then Adidas...Can´t ever recall them using Nike and I collect old game jerseys....Did I miss a year where they wore Nike and didn´t notice?

those camo army jerseys were by far the coolest jerseys ive ever seen, also i say no to the black jerseys because people would make fun of us and say we are copying UGA

Black jerseys would be cool but I'm affraid crompton might get confused and throw the ball in the dirt!

They did use Nike. I'm pretty sure that most of those 90's teams wore Nike. It wasn't until 99 or 00 I believe when they switched to Adidas.

20\20 here buddy. Like I said ask most of the kids playing and they like the modern style uniforms beter. And if they do then we need every angle to get commits. Al you old school guys your days are numbered. Oh yes they will change

Is this VN or Vogue? You guys must have alot of time on your hands to be discussing this. One of the things that makes UT special is the fact that we have held true to our traditions and history. Orange and White is who we are. Maybe instead of running through the T our guys could enter the stadium on the Red Carpet and Kirk and Lee could comment on the color scheme on the uniforms. And for those of you all hung up on black jerseys, I personally wouldn't want to do anything that follows what GA has already done. Give it a rest.:banghead2:

Black TN uniforms, are you guys delusional? If anything throw in some retro jerseys. Definitely not black. Maybe throw in the squared T of old or maybe even have the numbers on the side like they had back in the day(not permanent of course). When did TN fans start to want a fashion statement? I'm guessing most of these guys are teenagers.

We never wore Nike uniforms. There was a time in the mid 90's where the coaches gear was nike(ie. hats, polos,etc.). Also you could buy a nike replica jersey at stores. I have a Peyton Manning one, but the team never wore them. It went from sportsbelle to Adidas.

I like a Throwback every now and then, I thought maybe the grey facemasks for a game or two?

I really liked it when the Colts went from the blue to the grey facemasks and I think the 49ers went back to the grey once this year. But like he said Nothing permanent.
