“Some coaches just know how to get everything out of players on a team. DePaul is one of those teams no reason they should beat Kentucky matching talent to talent but there you have it they win another big game because they get total effort and teamwork out of what they have on the roster.”

The question for me then becomes-why can Bruno not attract the talent? He was an Olympic assistant coach, hobknobs with all the legends, operates in a TOTAL party area in Chicago. How come no top 5 or 10 recruits haven’t stopped in for a few years?

One year to the day after Juicy Landrum set an NCAA, Big 12 and Baylor school record for 3-pointers in a game with 14, the Baylor Lady Bears made history again with the top mark in team assists. Baylor's 45 assists in its 136-43 romp of Northwestern State today were also an NCAA, Big 12 and school record. Coincidentally, Northwestern State shared the previous NCAA record with Nebraska at 43 assists. NWST had 43 vs. Arkansas Baptist, Jan. 10, 1987 and Nebraska had 43 vs. Howard, Dec. 11, 1992.

I believe Creighton beat Nebraska women's basketball team this year. Nebraska is not exactly known for WBB. I think Baylor plays Texas which again has not been so great but that will change with Vic. This year I don't see anyone that will challenge them but perhaps the loss they had.

Jaz Massengil getting her first game minutes of the season today for us at UK. Looks pretty good so far and definitely looks like she will make an instant impact as I would have hoped... We’ll see when they play an actual good team lol

UConn scored 110 against an over matched Xavier. The game was really choppy because of overzealous refs tweeting on nearly every play. It seemed like they called traveling at least a dozen times. It looks like Westbrook may be shaking off the rust. She scored 15 including 3 of 5 from outside.

LSU loses again... this time to Pacific who just got blasted by Stanford the other day to give Tara the most wins... I knew they would likely be down this year, but never like this.. wow

I agree they should be more talented than Pacific. But right now LSU is just a average team, it all starts with recruiting and right now they are not getting it done on that end.

Baylor winning back to back games by 93 is just ridiculous if you ask me. Not that these games would gain any new WCBB fans, but those scores ran across tickers all day all across the country. Just in my household alone, "that only happens in women's basketball", "why would I even bother to try watching women's basketball" blah blah. Those scores just look bad for the sport in my opinion.

Happy for Jaz. I hope her transfer is everything she hopes it will be and needed to be for her.
