I don't think it's just price gouging. CTD has a history of listing one price only to find they upped it in the time you put it in the cart to buy. Or removing items already paid for with the "no longer in stock" reason only to relist them the next day at a much higher price.

A lot of shady practices over the years. Basically, they brought this on themselves.

I watched a guy do that during the last ammo shortage. Bought a new .380 which was like over a dollar a round at the time if you could even find it. He asked about ammo and the clerk laughed. Left the store with a very expensive paperweight.

I almost feel bad for the people who waited until the last few months to get into gun ownership. They'll never know what it feels like to buy an $8 box of 9mm.

I got lucky and found some $8 boxes of 9mm at walmart right before they announced that they were going to stop selling handgun ammo.

Seller's market for sure. Bricks of 22 that were $20 a few months ago are going for at least $35 or $40 now. Even seen it for $100 at some shameless places.
