Can I ask why people are obsessing over her? I feel like weāre a guy whoās girlfriend broke up with him and weāre Facebook stalking her. Let it go...geez!
That's what family does. You don't have to agree but you wish them well. The same reason many Lady Vol fans continue to follow the careers of Anastasia Hayes and Mimi Collins with interest, and will likely follow Massengill and Zaay Green when they suit up for their new teams.
The better question is why youāre so butt hurt over it... ?
None of the above you mentioned (all of whom I follow) disrespected the program. Iām not butt hurt, just donāt understand the obsession. The same reason many Lady Vol fans continue to follow the careers of Anastasia Hayes and Mimi Collins with interest, and will likely follow Massengill and Zaay Green when they suit up for their new teams.

Couldnāt agree more!Just the pot stirrers keeping it rolling because they know mentioning her gets everyone fought up.
Most Vol fans moved on the moment she spoke ill of the program. Not happy? Fine, leave, but donāt try to tear everything down with you. The rest moved on when she transferred to UCONN.
Someone said her defense was better and I started laughing hysterically. Her defense still sucks, guarantee you Geno would agree. Thatās why Park-Lane had 29 points. She was guarding her quite a bit and did nothing to deter dribble penetration. Park-Lane took the ball wherever she wanted the other night, just like guards did against her at UT. EWās knee is a permanent problem at this point. I donāt suspect sheāll have much of a pro career.
Careful that you don't get stung next month.![]()
I always admired Westbook's passing ability when she was a LV and will watch some UConn games just to see more. I don't know if she had a attitude problem, but was sorry she didn't give Kellie a chance.I watched the game. Westbrook did not defend Park Lane. That job fell mostly to Buecker and like most freshman she didn't have a clue about how to defend her. IMO that's typical of an AAU coached player. Auriemma will fix that. As for Westbrook I saw nothing that indicated she was slowed down by a knee problem. Actually she looked very good on the court, it was just that the ball wouldn't go in the net. Auriemma has said that she is the team leader and that's good enough for me.
Very possible. I think it will be a good game!
Would prefer if we werenāt playing at all though. Was not a fan of bringing that series back. Reasons aside, if Pat cancelled it, that meant it was cancelled permanently in my mind. I feel putting UCONN back on the schedule was Hollyās last abysmal gift to the program trying to save her job.

i didnāt think it was Holly I thought the admin of the schools got involved because ESPN and the Hall of Fame for in contact with the admin of the schools to play and made it for Pats foundation and the Hall of Fame they both received donations.
To be fair I think Holly squashed the idea when Geno demanded an apology ...
Still believe the head coach would have the final say. Would have been a firm āN-Oā for myself in that position. Easy to say from the outside looking in most definitely. Likely tells us about the dynamic at the time. Did not have a handle on the program if she was getting stepped over like that. Bureaucracy aside, you have to have a backbone.
From a basketball standpoint it made 0 sense for the program at the time. It drew major attention to the program at itās very worst and set us up for almost certain embarrassment. I can appreciate that it benefitted Patās foundation. Was very poor timing in LV history though. We werenāt a competitive team at the time it was scheduled and it was humiliating to admit that. Serious doubts Pat would have enjoyed that.

I hear what youāre saying but iāve also had a boss that said when I say do it then do it... didnāt matter my objection or how it made my job look.
Sometimes it is what it is and your NO and objection is there yes we will be there LOL...
