Well if Tennessee doesn't get around 15- 4 stars; that's a goodly drop. Maybe by the Feb signing they can add some more.

The point being that a given player might be mis-evaluated, and may either be a 5* bust or a 2* NFLer, but in the aggregate, the stars matter.

He isn't a running back, and going into this recruiting period we were hardly loaded at running back. With Evan and Brown and probably Wright we addressed that. We had to address being scat back U and we finally did. Young is a outside linebacker in our defense more than likely. He had many offers especially late by many sec schools. GBO!!!!

Pruitt has a plan for having what...7 or 8 RBs on the roster? He's genius from Alabama. Can't question the gump.

The Vols had a tough lead in to the early signing period by losing commitments from five-star linebacker Terrence Lewis, four-star tight end Hudson Wolfe, ESPN 300 cornerback Damarius McGhee and defensive end Darrell Jackson, among a few others.
The staff didn't land any significant additions on signing day and finished the day ranked outside the top 10 despite previously finding itself as high as No. 3 in the rankings during the 2021 cycle. This wasn't how the staff wanted to finish.

Getting exposed like we did all season, particularly in the 2nd half of every game, has hurt us badly. Kids start to question the coaching ability. Now the wheels start to come off the recruiting train.

I definitely think Pruitt is a quality defense coach no doubt, maybe he sometimes gets overwhelmed. But I still see potential success here with him if he focuses on D and either Chayney or someone very creative/ innovative like Leach if he were to get fired at MSU, or Briles, I’ve stated I’d be very happy with Freeze even as HC, just don’t see that as a realistic possibility. Hopefully we at least stay in the top 15 by the end of this class. (Should be top 5)

My issue with Gray is this... he whiffs A LOT on blitzes. He wants the ball, but he doesn't want to block. If he fixes that, he'll improve his draft stock considerably.
