I’m in the same boat. But from what some of the insiders say he has some problems that I hope he can overcome. Mainly temper and control. If he can step back and manage instead of micromanage and relax and have some fun. Be serious when he needs to be he may be ok. I’m on the boat to give him time but at the same time if the right higher is available and the AD/School don’t see him lasting, might as well pull the trigger.

If he hasn't changed in 3 what makes you think he is going to change now? Even under Fulmer he's been as stubborn as a mule and then belittles the media like they are 2 year old's. He hasn't shown the maturity to be a HC in 3 years and most coaches that have worked under him can't stand him. And yes let's talk about the lack of player development. He took over the D line. Have they gotten better? No. How about playing JG that cost us so many games and the lack of QB development. We still have no pass rushers, no decent DB's that can actually cover anyone or tackle, and an OL that was suppose to be all American. We are in year three and we have digress not progressed.

Most of y’all’s preseason commemts about how great our coaches were, and now complete opposite. Yes the QB decisions were botched and Cheney’s second rodeo wasn’t fun. However, it’s 2020 and COVID. I’m ok with giving Pruitt another year. I do insist on changing some assistants. My recommendation starts with Friend. How is our OL so terrible with the bad a$$ players we have? Probably fire Cheney and promote Tee to OC. Or heck, maybe Art Briles would take an OC position. A big reason the defense was bad is because they got no help from the offense. A better offense would have made our defense better. Also, gotta get better on the DL too.

He is going to have basically the same record as Dooley after three years.
He has more blow out losses than both Butch and Dooley combined.
Numerous assistants have left every year because he is hard to work with.
He decided to play JG and would still be playing him if he could.

But let’s keep him!!! Maybe we can make a bowl game next year!

Buddy we are in year 3....Replacing assistants will take millions of dollars when we might as well just sever the head who hired them in the first place, because no worthwhile assistant will come to a situation where they will prob get fired in a year. Yeah your opinion is impossible to get behind because it makes absolutely no sense..

Auburn just fired their 6-4 coach and they’re paying a 21 million dollar buyout. They care about winning. Alabama went through several coaches proving they care about winning and aren’t scared to fire someone that isn’t working out.

Pruitt isn’t going to turn things around here. It’s obvious to almost everyone. Giving another year or 2 won’t change that. Pruitts ceiling is 8 wins if he’s lucky. There’s no point in keeping him.

100% agree. When all facts are known, the AD/boosters need to pull the trigger on terminations or extensions. All facts are known. They pulled the trigger on an extension when all facts were not known. They gave an extension to a guy who could not figure out he had an incompetent at QB despite repeated and obvious screw-ups. A QB who had led them to losses against Georgia State and BYU, who went rogue when they were in the game against Bama, and who prepared for a bowl game for a month and was a huge flop against IU. The same HC who brings in one of the most prepared and talented HS QB's in the nation to go with the talented QB he recruited in his first year, Shrout; then never gives them the opportunity to compete for the starting job. That type of HC leadership should be rewarded? Fulmer blew it.

That same group with Fulmer that gave the extension to that idiocy is making the decision on Jeremy and the future now. I'm not overly optimistic they have the ability to do anything right after the shiz show they have given us for over a decade. They may need to turn their Vol cards in and go intern for Saban and get him coffee.

They have one opportunity to get this right on Sunday.

I’m sorry to hear. I think everyone is tired of 2020. Everyone has dealt with something. I lost my mom and spent two days in quarantine at the hospital for a false positive. Life throws you punches, but you have to get up and fight back.
