😂😂😂 I just logged in from not being able to since early last night. What a damn day.

Honestly, it would be a solid idea to pitch "see who signs on esd" for a candidate that Auburn and Tennessee went after.

I’m not sure what to make out of Freeze. Seems like a great choice for a program but there is a consistent chatter about him being no chance for big jobs, etc.

I wonder what the truth is

Those who make decisions know more than we do. Doesn’t mean one way or the other, but they do.

From Feldman:

“One thing to keep in mind with Freeze and perhaps a few of the others mentioned above is the impact the Auburn opening could have on Tennessee. Word is the Vols would prefer not to pull the plug on Jeremy Pruitt after just three seasons. He was Phil Fulmer’s hand-picked choice, but the Vols are really, really struggling. Pressure is mounting. It’s no secret Freeze has been enamored with Tennessee football from long before he was ever a college coach, and he would be seen as a splashy hire. Does Tennessee now pivot to try and make sure Auburn doesn’t snatch away someone they really want?”

This is getting juicy. Sexton is making moves.

I can't decide if I want to get it over with or not. Dread another coaching search.

If they'd finally do it at the right time and hire the right guy we wouldn't have to keep doing this. The reason why I don't want to tie Fulmer to Pruitt is because Fulmer has done everything he can to help Pruitt succeed. Pruitt has failed despite it but not for lack of resources. We need that paired with a coach who knows wtf he's doing. However, if Fulmer is the holdout (and I don't believe he is because he isn't the one making hiring/firing decisions alone) I'm ready to see him back into retirement too. But a legit HC with an AD willing to get him staff money and resources is a winner here and everyone knows it. We've just been too busy fighting with each other and focusing on other stupid things to get it right.

He says someone we really want....so have we made it known there is mutual interest?
