Monken was campaigning for the job pretty hard on the radio in Nashville last week.

Also said he wouldn’t run a true triple option there.

He grew up a UF fan, still picked TN.

Hey, take your azz to the UF board then. I am mad at Pruitt but he's giving both the opportunity to compete and trying to not have just two QB's next year. It is not fair to just give reps to one guy. May have told them if you have a turnover, we will pull you for the next guy. Was it Harrison's fault. Heck no, it was Warren missing the block. But, Bailey started the second half and when JT came back in and had a turnover then Bailey came back. This was like a scrimmage and thankfully we were on the side where we could treat it that way against an inferior team. Worse thing I saw this year was a kid getting ZERO opportunity to compete for a job in high school with another second year player because of some legacy BS. Bailey is getting his opportunity. He was picked to start. And, he has done well. He performs he plays. He goes anywhere else then he has to win the job and perform.

I’m amazed at how may people want to act like tonight was some sort of proof that Pruitt has it figured out. So what we won big. So what the RBs looked good. So what we have a QB. We’ve known all of that all year. Nothing has changed. Pruitt is still a disaster and and win against a team that was so depleted it had to recruit a soccer player doesn’t change that. Once reality sets in next week, we will find ourselves hoping against hop that Fulmer has someone lined up. All tonight proved was how poor of team manager Pruitt really is.
If anything it showed me how much he has screwed up. He has a team full of talent and doesn’t know how to manage it.

What’s going to be the reaction in here when Pruitt and Peyton 2.0 Bailey beat top 10 A&M in Neyland next week?
I'd be happy and extremely shocked. Doesn't mean I think Pruitt has figured it out.

Now, if as many of us suspect, Pruitt is back next year, and the team plays better and pulls off an upset or two, then I'll believe Pruitt has figured it out. But I think the odds of us looking that good next year are very low. He's done enough to deserve to be fired this year, but unfortunately, we don't get to make that call.

As bad as LSU had been this year.. They are playing a helluva game.

What they are doing is what we wanted to see this year at some point. Even if they lose.. If I'm an LSU fan, I see some evidence that all is not lost.

The fans fired O at the beginning of the season

On VQ postgame pod they talked about HB basically said he’s in more control of the offense than the coaches think. Said he does nothing great but everything well. AP mad an interesting comment saying he’s in between Casey Clausen and AJ Suggs right now, he can be as good as Casey or a bridge guy like Suggs.
I get he may not 'pop' right now, but he's so dang consistent. I think you have to ride what is consistent and develop the 'pop'. He may never have great twitch or speed, but if he can develop his long ball, that's a dang good QB to have.
