Briles was the fall guy for the entire administration at Baylor.
They greenlit him accepting whoever he could get into school. Baylor was basically win at any cost mode.
They turned their heads to numerous the illegal activities happening on and around campus to win up to and including violence.
Briles wasn’t just some rogue operator.

(Ps. Baylor conducted an investigation Bc of pending lawsuits to see how big the scope was, and they refuse to release the findings, ask yourself why)
Briles toes the company line and falls on the sword for the higher ups if anything goes wrong.
Not trying to defend anything that happened there, but Briles was more like a field general following orders from his commander in chief
