Next year we have young unproven, inexperienced players all over the roster. Depth and talent issues at multiple positions. Pruitt has mismanaged this roster just short of Dooley levels. Let that sink in.
Hand them over to Freeze or a few others and watch 8+ wins happen.

Pruitt will strain to find 6 wins.

I’m so tired of renovations and upgrades. Let’s worry about being a respectable program and winning. Then make upgrades.
Exactly, you nailed it! What does all that matter if the program hasn't improved in 15 years? I could care less about a new concourse and ****** ass over priced food and beer. Give us a team that is fun to watch. I'm so tired of well...but well...but we don't have the talent. ********! The numbers don't lie we had the same recruiting numbers if not better than FL from 2016 to 2019 and years before as well. 0-15 against AL. 1-15 against FL. We have struck out on coaching plain and simple. For once we have really good options. Let's hope one is hired.

Pruitt will remain until the Georgia game next year. We’ll have already been curb stomped by Florida at that point, and he’ll be mercifully let go after we get enema-d by Georgia in early October. We’ll probably have lost to Pitt too.

The Buffalo coach is a leading candidate at Vandy. They are leading the nation in scoring at 50 points a game. Hes 35-32 at Buffalo, but 22-9 last three seasons. He was 109-6 in division iii with 6 national championships.

Be a good fit for that coach and a lot warmer lol

Well...we'd at least have a recruiting boost. And anyone could do better than Pruitt+Chaney. 2022 class will struggle so bad with nothing to sell. I don't get it.
I don't disagree about better coaching but I'm not sure about that recruiting bump.

I
I don't see how people find it insulting or tone deaf that UT wants to provide a better experience for all fans. Club seating was upgraded a while back and upgrading other areas of the stadium, including non-premium seating, has been in the long-term plan. Fans have complained for decades about things that are long overdue. And now it sets people off? But that's the last I'll say about it.
I hear what you are saying but I have sat in seats designed for ten year old children for years while seeing club seats installed! Planning, always planning! Actions speak louder than words ...

So off topic, is anyone nervous about the rapidly produced and cleared Covid vaccines?
I may have the opportunity to get it early... I don’t really want to become a zombie though.
🧟🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️ 😳

I’m not.
Other vaccines and clinical trials haven’t had the financial backing this one has.
From reading up on things, that’s what slows that process down the most.

With the total collapse of this team I am wondering if the firing of Brumbaugh (sp) had anything to do with it. Really odd how it happened and ever since our performance has been well you know. Would love to hear @Atlanta VOL comment on this.
I do think that firing and the way it happened certainly created some tension among players and for sure among the staff. During the games JP is such a hot head when it comes to taking mistakes out on the coaches. Hell in all honesty this wasn’t the first time he had fired a coach in the middle of the game. He fired another coach last season during a game but ultimately came to his senses and recsinded it and let the coach back in the game...tells you what you need to know about how hot he can get.

The better Neyland experience is when we cannot hear because it so loud and everybody is standing, even us blue and no hairs because the football is so good and means so much. Upgrading facilities before upgrading coaching and the product on the field is one of the dumbest business moves they could make. Produce a superior product on the field and the money will flow to do whatever they want to do with the rest.

I have a handful of booster and VFL friends. Know what they want, and it is the same things most of us want. They don't give a rip about facilities upgrades. They want to win and have pride in the program again.
