There backups weren't in. And UF was still blitzing....we've ran 11 personnel something like 85% of the year.
I just laughed at Pruitt's comment if true. "We found our identity" once the other team put their backups injust wow Pruitt
“They” as in Butch? He your resource? The offense was more productive under him than Bajakian and there was some semblance of OL effectiveness. Some high scoring and our best games against Bama, UGA and Florida including wins against the two latter. He got mocked for his job title at Michigan when Butch hired him and was our best OC since Cut imo.DeBord was so good, they let him walk and he was replaced with Larry Scott, who last had called plays at Sebring High School in 2004.
Best OC since Cut was actually Chaney, the first time.“They” as in Butch? He your resource? The offense was more productive under him than Bajakian and there was some semblance of OL effectiveness. Not sure - by the accounts that I've heard, Pruitt is actually still well-liked by most players. That's always been said about him actually, even during his days as a coordinator. His players love playing for him. What do you think the players thoughts are on coach Pruitt? I mean, they hear the buzz regarding what a loss to Vandy would mean for CJP. Does anyone foresee a team that gives very little effort against Vandy similar to the Kentucky game with Dooley?
As bad as it is now, do you really want to hire an up and comer coach and turn around and fire him 3-4 years later? There's not a Rick Barnes waiting to fall in UT's lap right now.
