Yeah. The guy that could possibly not like the NFL as much as he thought he would similar to spurrier? Just saying it doesn't hurt to ask.
Hasn’t had near the NFL experience as Spurrier. The Ole Ball Coach wasn’t interested in the other tasks...just wanted to golf, drink beer and run his offense. Rhule’s a workaholic and won’t quit until he succeeds or gets fired.

No decent OC is going to come here knowing it's a one year gig. Mike Bobo is probably the best we can get. It's phase two in the demise of a coach. Phase one, recruiting falls on it's face. Phase two coaches leave to be replaced by worse coaches and signed to stupid, financially, backbreaking contracts.

I don’t think Chaney is going anywhere

You guys remember how many guys turned us down and how desperate we were after Butch? Look at us now. We have Napier, Freeze, Chadwell among others that would literally love to be here and would gladly take the job ASAP. I CANNOT BELIEVE how simple this would be. It's ALL RIGHT THERE!!! Pruitt is a dead man walking, and imo you'd be a fool to think otherwise.

DO SOMETHING!
Not sure Chadwell is ready for this job just yet. The others I'd be most interested in.

If the SEC is throwing in with Disney, get ready for more female players and women football coaches.

*Don't laugh, did everyone see how the Avengers ended?
With Robert Downey dying and Captain America getting old and retiring?

It’s hilarious we have all of these coaches saying they want the TN job that isn’t open, and we have mouthpieces from the AD saying Pruitt will return next year. What gives? I wonder who is in the background pushing the narrative of these coaches wanting the TN job that isn’t open?
Wishful thinking on my part but I get the inkling that the powers that be’s hands are being forced. If they’re chatty with their associates who post on message boards? I don’t think said chatter is on the up and up. JMO.

So, I'm scared of Billy Napier because of the Bama thing - and he's only been a head coach at one place. But I got to thinking, he took the Louisiana job the same year Pruitt took the Tennessee job. Both first time head coaches. Here is the comparison:

Record at Louisiana three years prior to Napier's arrival: 15-22
Napier's record at Louisiana: 27-11

Record at Tennessee three years prior to Pruitt's arrival: 22-16
Pruitt's record at Tennessee: 15-18

Average finish in the recruiting rankings in conference (per Rivals) at Louisiana three years prior to Napier: 6th
Average finish under Napier: 3rd

Average finish in the recruiting rankings in conference (per Rivals) at Tennessee three years prior to Pruitt: 5th
Average finish under Pruitt: 7th

Come on Phil! Take the SEC TV money. Find Tee a HC job. Make the incoming new HC keep Jay Graham or find Jay an OC job somewhere. Just don't let him go to an SEC school as only a RB coach. Fire Pruitt after next week's game on Saturday night. Introduce new coach on Sunday afternoon or Monday. Merry Christmas.
