Hes trying to do the math on Will Healy's buyout. Give him a second.

I did the math on PJ Fleck just in case anyone is interested...
If he leaves before Dec 31st... UM would be owed 10 million...
If he leaves after Dec 31... it drops to 4.5 million

That would be a looooong 11 days if Pruitt is fired on the 20th... worth waiting to save 5.5 million though

But if we fired Pruitt while waiting, we could have the ELITE coaching search gifs return.

It makes no sense to fire Pruitt, unless you have a guy lined up ready to take the job. And at this point I don't think the options available are worth it. That may change, but given the current pool of coaches, I don't see it.
Do you think Pruitt is a capable coach that will turn this around and win 8+ games next year? If not... that’s your reason and sense.

What??? Plenty of better coaches who would come here. Pruitt is the worst head coach we have had here and we should keep him? Whoa...
He’s just a mouthpiece for the AD trying to let us down easy with what will happen. There are numerous mouthpieces planted on this board to give pointed info with specific reasons behind it.

We have underachievers at every level in the football program. I'm not in favor of giving anybody-- the current HC or a new one-- a free five to fix things that can be fixed in less time than that. It's possible to see progress right away and build incrementally from there. Everybody has to buy in, be accountable and be in lockstep. We're not that. And yes, it flows from the top and always has.
Yep. Progress isn’t always linear but this is stark regression with no hope that it’s going to sky rocket on track
