I think sennse the 90's our uniforms have changed somewhat. Not drastic but definatly different. you look back to when peyton or jay gram or even the 98 team and the jerseys where traditional-almost like michigan or ohio states but now they are just a little different in the lettering....it kind of bothers me as someone who has played football their entire life...because little things like that can drasticly effect the teams mindset....does anyone know what im talking about???

The uniforms look much better now. When I watch old games from the 90's I can't help but think how cheap the jerseys looked. Big improvement. I do miss the uniforms with the numbers outlined in black.

Why do you miss those? We still have them. But personally I could do without any black in our uniforms.

Those ones from the 90's were durable as hell though. The most beat-up one I have (actually, had; it's in his possession now) was a Billy Ratliff that had three or four repairs on it.

On the other hand, I have Keyon Whiteside's from 2002 with 17 repairs on it, part of a number missing, and a ton of assorted wear marks all over it.

in the 90's the jerseys weren't skin tight and the numbers were oversized. the adidas logo was also placed differently on the jersey and i think they were more meshy also.

i actually loved those jerseys. you gotta roll with the times i guess......

Some of you guys sound like a bunch of women. Who cares what the uniforms look like? I turn on the game to watch them play football not to see how good they look. And I don't know many men that care about what they are wearing anyway so I really don't see how that can affect thier mindset.

Don't stereotype women...last time I did, I got it piled on by women and the legions of internet fans. You might have an easier time as a woman, though. :)

As long as our jerseys are always orange with white numbers and that's it (or the other way around) I am happy. The Adidas logo can go anywhere. They can be skin tight, or loose. Just keep them they way God intended them to be :)

I know I shouldn't stereotype but I don't know many men that stand around talking about clothes.

we need some black in the uniforms. i cant stand the old style stuff like tenn and penn state ect. we need to change them up. need some black accents on them and need to wear the orange pants more often. black uniform would be nice too. and kids like the new style uniforms.

Maybe we can get some LED's on the shoes and a neon T on the helmet.

yeah i mean im not saying it makes you a better football player...im simply saying that i know when my school played in regular home unis we always where like damn. but when our coach said lets go with the all black alturnitive unis we all where excited as hell and usually played with a little more passion...kind of how georgia does their blackout unies when playing in big games...or when tennessee did all orange in last years SEC Championship....so im not saying it makes you a better player it just shakes it up a little more and makes it new.. thats why coaches only do it on really big games because it reminds their players how big this game is...see what im saying now doubters??

Tennessee lost the title game in all orange and the last time georgia had black unis they got their butts handed to them. Guess your concept sucks.

I agree. we also need to get rid of adidas and go with nike. most nike uniforms have a updated look. ND has adidas and its not working for them. lol
