If Vandy wins surely you want a new coach right?

I, along with many others, have wanted a coaching change for weeks. As for our administration, I don't think they want to deal with (1) the embarrassment of firing Pruitt in the same year they gave him a raise and extension and (2) paying millions in buyout money in the immediate aftermath of a pandemic season. Losing to a winless, depleted Vandy team I think would force their hand, though.

If Vandy wins, they should tell Pruitt to meet the team at the airport for the flight back. Then take the bus.

The first three words of your thread title were superfluous, OP.
Yep. We have seen plenty of CJP to know that he can’t cut it.
Now it’s all about money.
Who pays all of the contracts off and when do they do it.
And then how much will we spend THIS TIME to get something better.

If this game with Vandy, has any bearing on JP's future as UT's coach, It is over. The game shouldn't even be played when you look at Vandy's roster for the game.

Vandy will probably have more walk-ons dressed on Saturday than scholarship players. I'm sure there will be a few crazy, overachievers who make a play here or there but the Dores are showing up with a team that could lose to several of the better high school programs in TN. I still think they back out before kickoff.
