My reading comprehension is spot on. I assume you work for NASA which is scary as hell given you can’t decipher who a kid is talking to in a simple tweet but have the audacity to call someone on THEIR comprehension. Context clues tell you everything you need to know. He was talking DIRECTLY to someone that made a snide comment to HIM directly. His comment included whoever he was talking to as well as anyone alike. Was it worded the best? Hell no. But the message was clear to anyone that “comprehends” what they read.

I thought it all the way out Sparky. The University doesn't need you so goodbye. Guess what, they'll have THEIR team next year and the next 100 regardless of if every NegaVol on this forum quit them tomorrow. The University isn't going anywhere so I doubt the football team is either unless you think you can start up a GoFundMe and buy the school.

I think you and those that want to quit on the program can go pound sand. There will still be a University for my grandbaby to attend and they'll still have a football team for me to root for, so go ahead and take all your future contributions with you.

The point is being a customer (sports consumer in my book) does not make one a fan or a supporter, just someone being a customer. If your support is conditional then a program can live without you and your spot will be backfilled with someone else. We are expendable just like coaches and players. I hate losing, but I hate losers worse.... Coaches and players can lose without being losers if they don't turn their back on coaches and other players to satisfy their egos. Same for fans... I for sure do not understand our play this year, doubt lots of team member do either. But those two long drives vs FL tell me the team has not quit. I feel bad for JG... it did not work out for him, but he has done whatever has been asked of him whether that was to go on the field or stand on the sidelines. He has done it with class even when a large group of folks identifying themselves as fans have not. It is not that folks pointed out his failures, it is how they pointed them out. Pick sixes are out there to see. So are unnecessary cheap shots. He has earned his spot as backup, they have earned their new positions on the fan/customer spectrum as well. JG can't justify his lapses, some of fans/customers think they can. This kid has pointed out some folks logic failures, but has not been classless in doing it.. compare and contrast his words with lots of posts on these boards and see what you see..... GO VOLS

So we've got a third or fourth string? QB than can't even take over the starting position on probably the worst Tennessee football team in the modern era of college football... taking shots at fans. Nice look Jeremy. Just when you think this season couldn't get any worse/uglier.

You guys just can't get past the simple minded thoughts can you? Like it or not but the University nor the football team isn't going anywhere anytime soon regardless of how many times our NegaVols claim they are going to stop donating and buying Manning jetseys.

Its not just nega vols that got upset about the whole tweet thing. I said in the beginning BM should of been the starter going into the season and got blasted. I agree no one should tweet negative things to these kids. I dont have twitter thank God sounds like a headache. People are passionate about "our team" came down in 2010 "first game ever" and the first thing i noticed was the fans! No fans like Tennessee fans! Im also not simple minded enough to see one side of this argument i can see why everyone is upset.

The biggest problem is that our fans just bypass the effect all the constant whining and moaning like teenagers has on our players. Acting like all the negative Nancies don't effect the team is wrong I believe. I think a large majority feel it hurts the program.

I cant disagree with that. I said before season started BM should be our starter liked his positive attitude. Was hoping he'd put on some weight and be the guy. You can go back and look through my comments about BM being the starter. Just trying to figure out if im a negavol or not.😂

That’s not what you said there Sparkmeister, you said fans weren’t customer. You are wrong. And because I think that one of these little spoiled kids who have had a whole lot of things given to them because they can run fast or throw a ball should be held accountable for their actions doesn’t make me a negavol, whatever that is, if makes me a fan who expects better. Now, I would counter that you and your ilk, the ones that constantly apologize for this type behavior, are precisely the ones that put us where we are, accepting mediocrity or less, because they are just kids.

I wonder if Bama, tOSU, Clemson, thinks that way. Well that’s not fair, tOSU doesn’t, this I know for a fact, and after 15 years in SC, i can assure you that Clemson doesn’t feel that way either. They are committed to putting the best product they can on the field. There are a lot of rea$on$ for this approach, and it works.
